A great 2-night stay in a lovely town with plentiful good restaurants and interesting shops. Our apartment for 4 people, although small, was spotless and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool area was also well-kept and warm! Would definitely recommend for a family ski break.

Apartments services and staff very good. Good choice for location and for families wanting to spend a skiing week looking for nice accomodation with selfcatering.
Lastei is a family fun's partner: very good service for families with kids

Well, it would not have been better. Actually the whole stay was great and we didn't experience any problems at all.
1. The reception was smooth, we got the room very quickly, as well as a parking place. There are different options-uncovered parking for free, covered and garage for additional price.
2. Room was enough and spacious for family of 4. Flatscreen TV (instead of old-fashioned that we saw on the webpage), kitchen well-equiped, bathroom with a set of towels. Towels were changed each 3d day, bedlinen-every week. Only big knifes were not of sufficient quality, but we took ours with us. Otherwise everything else was there. Fridge is small (hotel type), with a mini refrigerator built in. Nice terrace or balcony is a bonus, and I guess, is in all rooms.
3. Hotel has everything a family/couple/single visitor may need: bar, you can order breakfast, indoor swimmingpool, which was warm and clean, spa (we didn't use), gym (well equiped), playroom for kids (two actually, one for bigger teens, other for smaller ones). The only thing I would reccommend to improve is Internet (WIFI) in the rooms, which was sometimes of poor quality. In the reception, swimming pool area, playroom area actually it worked perfectly. They have also BBQ facilities, however that was closed in winter. And there is a ski-dedicated room, where you can store your ski equipment (locked), and dry your boots, which is great!
4. Location is perfect - very close to all ski resorts, skibus stop in front of the hotel, and to town. Walking distance to every place you want to visit-shops, restaurants, local supermarket with all you may needed, although a bit overpriced. A helicopter parking in front of the hotel.
Overall I would deffinately reccommend to visit and stay!

The three of us spent a week in this hotel, including the New Year's day. I would have given this place a higher grade were it not for the price (1400 Euros) which I think was too high for what the place has to offer. Generally speaking the hotel is very clean, but the carpet in our room was smelly (smelled like a dirty carpet). I complained to the manager, she checked it but didn't find anything wrong with it, nevertheless she offered to give us a different room - which was fair.
The room was not very big but still ok. The kitchen is very small (no oven, dishwasher or microwave) but the stuff in it is ok (you get a washing-up liquid, dishcloths, one dishtowel and serviettes).
You must wear a cap in the pool (you can buy it at the reception). You pay for the sauna and jacuzzi.
The location of the building is very good - close to the town center, ski bus station and a short drive to the major ski slopes (Tognola).
You have 7 hours of in-room free wifi but we didn't manage to connect.
The scenery is amazing.

A nicely located hotel in San Martino Di Castrozza with many fasilities such as fitness room, water pool and a gaming centre. The staff is helpful and kind, and always welcome you back. The rooms are clean and large with a veranda, kitchen and a bathroom, and it all comes at a very cheap and reasonable price. The only thing I miss is wifi, which they only have in their reception.
Despite that, Lastei is definatively a place to stay if you visit San Martino Di Castrozza.

Staying at Residence Lastei was overall a very pleasant experience.
We booked the accommodation without looking too much into it, but were surprised with the kindness of the personnel and the spacious room.
Also worth mentionning are the tasty breakfast and free parking near the accommodation.

Would definitely recommend. :)

We were a group of 4 South African adults visiting San Martino Di Castrozza for the first time. We only had 4 days in this beautiful town and spent most of our time skiing. We loved the location of Residence Lastei as it was close to the ski bus stop and within short walking distance to the town. The staff were friendly and helpful and the apartments clean and comfortably furnished. We hope to be able to return there some time soon!

In a quiet part of the city, but close to the center and the ski bus, beautiful mountain view, clean room and all rooms of residence, very well equipped kitchen, nice, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast with a sufficient choice (ham, salami, cheese, boiled egg, fruit, croissant, every day other baked cake, yogurt, marmalade ..., milk, juices, .. you can order a kind of coffee according to your taste or tea). Very good price.

Great residence few minutes from the town. The flat we rented was large, newly refurbished, clean and fully equipped. The balcony' s view was amazing. It is a traditional italian alpine residence with welcome drinks on Sundays and plenty of activities. Nice pool, gym and game room. I wish i could stay longer!
