This elderly hotel has struggled to move with the times since its heyday and remains in an overall poor condition, notwithstanding the noticeable signs that improvements are underway. It certainly doesn't rate four stars but it's better than three. Our room was comfortable, clean and functional with mini bar and desk, and the bathroom included a bath into which a...

We (dad with two kids; 10&11 years) stayed there on our journey to Torino. It's a pretty outdated Grand Hotel, which has seen better days. But it still has its charm, which I guess in high season might display better. In summary it was okay - nothing fancy.

The hotel is in great need of renovation and I'm not quite sure why it is classed as a 4 star hotel. The first evening we decided to eat in the restaurant from the menu rather than the buffet it was awful I managed to eat my meal but my husband couldn't eat the sea food ravioli it was shocking....

The place was built in 1870 and has probably barely been refurbished since then. The only positive point is that the sea view rooms have excellent views, I was moved to one of these at some extra cost after I complained upon entering the first room assigned to me. This first room felt like a cell in a Victorian asylum....

Everything about this hotel was unique. It truly makes you feel like you are going back in time because nothing appeared to be super commercialized. The front desk was simple, check in was easy and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bathrooms were spacious and had everything you needed. Not to...

Hotel Miramare Continental – where time stood still. Obviously long and glorious traditions from the ’golden days’, however, the building needs a thorough refurbishing to return to its former glory. Nice staff and good service. Good breakfast. Prefer other local restaurants for dinner. Our seaview room was clean and the view amazing. The garden too is a peaceful place for...

We last went to San Remo as two 19 yesr olds it was a wondeful return. Things have changed but a lot was very familiar. The Miramare is all you coud dream about for a hotel on the Riviera. It was a short walk into San Remo along the promenade. The room was massive with a walkin wardrobe, a well appointed...

Spacious, spotless rooms with the nice little extras like toiletries and slippers The exterior and common areas of the hotel are on the shabby side, but the gardens make up for it, and our room itself was pretty modern Really lovely and helpful staff, the cleaning staff deserve a special mention because every corner of our room was pristine Only...

We went to Sanremo for time on the beach and the Hotel Miramare is just steps away. Friendly service, excellent breakfast and clean rooms but this is an old grande dame that needs some work. The exterior of the hotel - particularly the entrance - is looking very dreary and the rooms, while clean and a decent size with ok...
