We were guests for 8 nights in this beautiful property located above San Vito di Cadore right in front of Mount Pelmo in a privileged, simply wonderful position to say the least, you are surrounded by fantastic mountains, the varied view of the Tofane, the Marcora, the Antelao, ……just one step away from heaven. The tranquility can be noticed as soon as you arrive, the structure is in a secluded position without the hustle and bustle and noise of the traffic of the center and this is already more than a winning card. As soon as you enter you are greeted by the smile of either MARIKA or VALENTINA (who manage the facility with mum and dad) and it is they who make the difference. Competent, always ready to give advice to please the customer, to have a cheerful but never intrusive chat, and always with a smile. The well-kept and extra-clean room, (compliments to the staff!!!!!) with measures that go beyond the three stars, (towels that are changed every day are not normal), very spacious wardrobes as well as space and a terrace with a view on Monte Pelmo, Abundant and quality breakfast, for all palates, both sweet and savory. Unfortunately we arrived in the period where it was not possible to have dinner but knowing San Vito we had no problem finding alternative restaurants even near the hotel, it would have been nice to try the cuisine anyway. I cannot recommend enough this hotel!!! Fantastic location, excellent food with great portions and superb customer service. Everybody at the hotel is so nice and welcoming, and they pay attention to every little detail. They even made us a packed lunch the day we left! The views from the balconies over the valley is just breathtaking and you can enjoy the same view when sitting in the sauna or in the jacuzzi. These services come with a small charge ( and a glass of Prosecco!) but it’s worth every penny. We came in a group to do some walking and this place is a good base for excursions with a good one up to rifugio San Marco starting right from the hotel. Numerous trails around the hotel and just a short drive away. If you think of staying in San Vito di Cadore this is the place to book. Enjoy your staying. We stayed in this hotel on the weekend of 2/3 March 2024. Very very nice hotel. The rooms are in classic mountain style, very nice and above all clean. The owners were very kind, courteous and professional. The breakfast is normal, nothing is missing. Cleanliness in all areas of the hotel. Also excellent for the possibility of leaving your skis in their closed storage. We had a small unexpected problem with the heating in the room as, for us, it was a little low but as soon as we communicated to the reception they solved it within 5 minutes. I highly recommend!

After a year I returned to Cadore and we couldn't help but stay in this hotel again. The location is stunning overlooking the valley. The rooms, although a little dated in terms of furnishings, are large and spotless. The breakfast was plentiful and with quality products. The best continues to be the 2 girls who manage the hotel who are always available, smiling and do everything to please the customer

Our room was spacious. spotlessly clean with a nice little balcony, with amazing views. Lots of pine, but coming from Norway we appreciate the use of wood in places where winter requires materials that insulate against the cold.
Very convenient if you have a car for trips in the surrounding area.
Breakfast was very good with everything you need. We didn't dine here but wish we had.
Panoramic sundeck with the possibility of use of a jacuzzi or sauna. We found the 20 euro charge per person for the jacuzzi a little steep so didn't try it, but it looked very inviting.
All staff were very pleasant and would highly recommend a stay here.

Our family experience was amazing! The customer service is for sure 5-Stars! The views are spectacular and the sauna and hot tub was perfect for a relaxation period after a long ski day. It's is the perfect ski in-ski out with a kids snow area with jumpy castles and 2 magic carpets all with a 3 minute walk. Perfect for a family with newborn and two toddlers. They even had snow tubing and sled riding. A restaurant on the mountain with amazing views and the chairlift right down the hill which you can ski too. Supermarket down the road and delicious restaurants in San Vito all 2-3 minutes away. They even have a San Vito ski bus to and from town for free. If you want to go to Cortina D'Ampezzo only about a 20 minute bus ride from San Vito. Don't think twice and book this place if you want a cozy but spacious welcoming Hotel with the most kindness of sisters and family ready to make you feel right at home.

We have just left the Cardo hotel and we already miss it.
The hotel is in an excellent location and feels family-run.
The girls, very sweet and kind, assist customers without making them miss anything. The rooms are characteristic, well maintained and very clean. The foods are also of high quality and the mix makes for a perfect stay.

Fantastic hotel, staff looked after us from the first time we arrived, and were really friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Hot tub was available to book of an evening and the hotel provided everything you needed, with a complimentary glass of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. The hotel is in a great location with stunning views and a lovely breakfast each morning. Couldn’t recommend this place any more, would 1000% visit again if we were back in the area, thanks so much for everything.
