We had a great time in this hotel which is located in a great location, in front of a pretty park and with all the services in the immediate vicinity (transport services, Church, pharmacy, supermarket and shops, tobacconist, multipurpose hall of the City Hall, etc.). We had a side room, comfortable and quiet, with a beautiful flowered terrace and a beautiful view of the park and the mountains. Hearty breakfast. Restaurant with very tasty dishes. Great cleaning service. Thanks to all the staff for the courtesy and kindness shown. With this choice, a stone's throw from Cortina, we had the opportunity to visit with public transport and lifts, in a completely easy and convenient way, some of the most beautiful destinations of the Dolomites (Lake Mosigo, Cinque Torri, Tre Cime, Lake Braies, Lagazuoi, Cima Tofana, Cristallo / Faloria, Lake Federa and many others). We will return for sure.

Hotel on the road to Cortina, nice rooms a little small and dated but overall good. The only big flaw is that if the room faces the main road during the night you can hear cars passing by, therefore little soundproofing. Good and varied breakfast. Kind owner.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very friendly staff, always someone at the reception. Amazing scenery.
Pros: - Beautiful scenery. Short distance with a car to well known hikes (Lago di sorapiss and Tre Cimes) - Great beetroot ravioli!! - Gym in the basement (90’s style) - Clean rooms
Cons: - Noisy room, our room was facing the main road. - No air conditioning, but ok in the night due to colder nights (16 degrees in june)

Charming little hotel close to Cortina D'Ampezzo, handy location, really nice staff, and some great food if you opt for a dinner in the hotel - do leave some space for it, it is worth it! Thumbs up for Hotel Alemagna!

We were a group of ten and I asked for booking 7 rooms for a couple of days this October. They said that there were no problems considering that we were far from the peak season. I told them that I would have call in two days to confirm the number or people and when I call back they told me that it was too late. I can justify such a behaviour during the high season but the hotel wa empty! Clearly the owners do not need/want to work. So why keep on saying that the hotel is open? When I tell the other hotel this experience they told me that the owner is well-known within the village for being weird. Pay attention when you will book this hotel!

I like the family atmosphere of the hotel. Owners and stuff were always very helpful. The rooms are not big but very neat. For me more important is that rooms were clean and warm. I could always find something good for breakfast from variety of the buffet. Italian cuisine served for dinner were very good. I liked especially local specialties’ available as a starter buffet for dinner. Hotel has good location for ski-fans. If you are looking for challenges Cortina is only 8 km away with variety of slops, if you are looking for not crowded place, San Vito ski lifts are 500 m away. I’ve spent with my fiends a wonderful time in this hotel. Bogdan, Warsaw
