My girlfriend and I stayed at The Alpha Hotel for a week at the beginning of May. We really were very impressed with everything. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept...the pool is a good size (a little cold in May though!) the rooms are large and very clean as are the bathrooms...! More than just one English speaking...

Thanks to reviews on Trip Advisor I chose to stay in this superb hotel. I've done quite a bit of travelling in my time and stayed in various establishments and I can honestly say that the Alpha Hotel was by far the best. All the staff seemed genuinely happy and friendly. Our room was spotless, bright and airy. The location...

This is an excellent hotel. Situated outside about a 30 minute walk from the touristy Sorrento but with good bus and train links (although the public transport does not always run to schedule!). some really nice restaurants near by too. Large rooms and the staff were so friendly and amazing, particularly the breakfast staff. The rooms were a bit tired...

We agree with everyone that the staff make this hotel with special mention to Salvatore (Restaurant) and Isabella ( Reception) who both went that extra mile for us. The choice of food for the evening meal is good, and if you have any issues with a special diet they are very helpful. The public areas are very smart and the...

as everyone says, the staff are excellent. we paid a little extra for a room at the front which had a view of the volcano and the sea, which was worth the extra cost. Although the place has obviously been updated quite recently, the furniture in the room looked very dated and out of place. Although the rooftop is advertised...

We had heard from various friends and relatives that their experience at this hotel was outstanding. Then 5 years later we visited for 8 days. It was breathtaking. The hotel itself is so pleasant and the fragrance of the lemon trees assures one that most certainly we are on a wonderful vacation. But the staff, each and every last one...

Very comfy and clean place to stay, gorgeous hotel grounds engulfed with lovely citrus trees. Fabulous reception staff always willing to help with a smile, and suggestions for travel plans of the area. We took the 2nd floor "comfort" room, was quite spacious and we didn't feel in lacking of anything. Lovely front balcony 2 wicket chairs & table with...

We stayed with our two sons and had interconnecting rooms which was great to give the boys space of their own to read and play games. The hotel was very clean and set in beautiful gardens with orange, lemon and grapefruit trees. The fact that the hotel was not in Sorrento itself was a bonus because it felt much quieter and...

My husband and I stayed for a week with our 14yr old son. Lovely clean hotel in a pleasant and quiet area. Staff really friendly and helpful. Chose the hotel because of its location to the train station which meant it was easy access to Pompeii, Herculanum and Versuvius. I know some people have complained about the location, but we...
