Me and my girlfriend stayed here in May 2016. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. After reading some reviews on here I was worried about the state of the hotel but found no such issues. If I had any constructive criticisms they would be that after...More
We spent a week here on a Tomson's bed and breakfast package. As I usually book accommodation direct, avoiding package holiday hotels and resorts, my expectations were not high. So the hotel, its staff and environs were a very pleasant surprise. The staff care about...More
The hotel was lovely, clean and well maintained.
The grounds were beautiful and set back from the main road.
The food was good but could have been hotter.
The staff were cheerful, helpful and very friendly, as good as I have ever known except for...More
My Wife and I visited Parco Del Sole in September 2015. The reviews were a little mixed, but we certainly enjoyed our week there. The room was a good size, clean and pretty much what you would expect of a med holiday. We also had...More

No kettles sorry. We used to get coffee or tea from bar and take it up with us. We had 204 on 1st floor, we didn't pay for a balcony so no real view. But we always say it was only a week and we only sleep in the room.

There are a few places that are a must see if you are not the sort of person who returns to previous holidays. Vesuvius, herculaneum, Pompeii, the amalfi coast, Capri and Sorrento itself. All are possible yourself e.g the train Will take you to Pompeii or herculaneum in about 40 Min. The entrance fee is extra with operators so don't think it is part of their price. Both sites do excellent audio guides that combined with a good guidebook are sufficient. I did the Amalfi coast with the Big Red Bus sightseeing. You can go when you like and return anytime. We walked into Sorrento to catch the first one of the day and then spent 4 hours in Amalfi. It is 4euros more then the local bus but it has aircon and wifi. We also did the tour of Sorrento with them and found it informative. I went on a organised trip to Vesuvius so I cannot advise. I would also recommend using the port to find excursions. I went over to Naples for a day, takes about an hour, and it is the cheapest way to see Capri.
The point to remember is the hotel will provide a packed lunch, you can choose your own times and you do not have to visit a Carpet shop as a 'surprise' extra on an organised tour!!
Plenty of advice can be found on this site for individual destinations with accurate prices and instructions. I did all my trips at half the price of the organised ones. Have fun!!!!!

Hi think we may be looking at a compensation trend here ( sad ) we left Money iPad phone and camera without event. When we were there there was a lot about pickpockets on local trains too but again in our experience it was no worse than city centres here ! rule is don't carry a lot in one place and flash it. We found all staff good and didn't feel worried wherever we were out and about. Again the only caution is if you need a powerful hairdryer or like a kettle in your room take your own lol Enjoy and do the hotel free walk tour of Sorento as interesting X
