We had an excellent stay in Villas Savarese. Our room was on the top floor and was fairly simple. The bathroom was also adequate, but the shower could have been better (the head was slightly broken, so you could not angle it). The pool area is lovely - calm and peaceful to sit out in, surrounded by fruit trees. Saint...

Just returned & thanks to our hostess for a brilliant week! The electronic gate hides an oasis of calm from the bustle of Sorrento. This is a lovely residence with high standard rooms, in an amazing garden with swimming pool surrounded by lemon & orange trees. Angela works very hard - from the homemade cakes at breakfast to afternoon tea...

We've just returned from our week at Relais Villa Savarese and what a thrill it was. The hotel was previously a private residents and is now run as a boutique hotel largely by the family members. They clearly have pride in the place, it's absolutely beautiful. Just try and count the lemons and oranges on their trees! What else is...

It was a dark and stormy night when we arrived in Sant' Agnello...and although the weather didn't let up much, this very private hotel was a joy to stay in. Starting with breakfast, we tucked into freshly baked cakes and a different savoury flan each day. Angela and her team provided excellent service and looked after us unobtrusively. A casual...

We were lucky to have stayed at this beautiful place for four days at the end of our trip to Italy. It made it the perfect way to finish. From the warm welcome to the fond farewell we had a most enjoyable stay. In fact it was probably the best accommodation we had while in Italy. The breakfast was good,...

I was treated to a long weekend away by my partner to celebrate my birthday over the Easter Weekend. From the moment we passed the gates, we entered into a truly magical space. After a tour of the gardens, pool and the Villa itself, we were shown to our room - on the top floor overlooking the rooftops and across...

I stayed here in the first week of September and it was such a lovely holiday. The hotel is very small and therefore, very quiet and perfect for couples looking to get away and completely relax. Our room was big and very nice, it was cleaned daily and the whole hotel was well maintained. The breakfasts are freshly prepared every...

If you'd like to know what it's like to live like an Italian lord, Villa Savarese is the place for you. It's a classic Italian villa and you'll feel like a princess in your elegant room, or lazing by the pool. It is a lovely oasis if you're planning a quiet holiday by the pool - but if you're planning...

We only stayed at Relais Villa Savarese by chance, but in picking it we struck gold. It is a lovely, lovely big villa set in its own big, beautiful gardens. The house itself is a work of art, seemingly at one with the gardens surrounding it. The gardens make you feel like you are at one with nature, but they...

We loved this small boutique hotel. I can’t believe it’s only rated 3 stars ... should be 4 star facility with 5 star service. Beautiful landscaped gardens and a large elegant villa greet you as you pass the front gate. After a long day of site-seeing (in very busy & crowded Sorrento, Amalfi or Capri) it’s wonderful to come back...

“If you want a view don't take a a junior suite in the attic. We were put in the junior suite with an outside patio, which is great if it is a baking hot day, as the room stays nice and cool. The downside is the lack of view as the letter box windows above head height meant you couldn't see out except through the glass door. After two days we were put in a Superior room on the first floor with a view over the pool - which had lots of natural light two aspects and was much better.”
