Egon and his crew were so nice! Great room, great food, and best of all great company. And the coffee........my idea of perfect! They were in the middle of a remodel, and we still felt like we were the only thing they needed to think about. Tu Ned us onto a great local market, and checked into climbing possibilities for...

We fell in love at first sight with Hotel Solaia. Tired and hungry after driving the whole day from Sweden we got a warm welcome by the owner Egon who hurried us in to the dinner. What a perfect start! Now this year 2016 was the 16th consectutive time we returned to Hotel Solaia. Solaia with it's ski in/out to...

Hotel location is excellent next to the slope. Included breakfast is OK. However the dinner is usually of poor quality. My wife is vegetarian and for her dinner they would more or less just put what was on the salad bar onto the plate and serve that as the main course. I would expect more from an Italian kitchen.

This was the first time we visited the Dolomites and Hotel Solaia for our winter sports holiday. We were very pleased with our stay. We were a group of 9 persons. The hotel location is superb with ski in and ski out on the doorstep. The room we had was a little tight for 2 adults, but we manage well...

This hotel is a true ski in - ski out hotel. 36 Steps from the ski room to the slope - and back. The hotel facilities were a really pleasant surprise compared to the information found in the internet. Room was simple but clean and seemed to be renovated not so long time ago. For skiers and other people needing...

I stayed in the Solaia twice a number of years ago and commented that I had experienced problems with the admin - not everyone had rooms available when they arrived on both occasions. This holiday we were joining a group of friends who were staying at the Solaia and it seems that any of these problems that were experienced in...

We stayed at the Hotel Solaia for one night on a family bike trip; the hotel is in a great location right near the heart of Selva but off the main street, and our room was amazing- on the top floor and we fell asleep looking at the lights of Val Gardena. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and...

The Hotel Solaia is a lovely hotel that we stumbled across several years ago. We went 5 years in a row, and after 6 year gap, returned in February. It was even better than we remembered, having had all the bedrooms and bathrooms refitted and the downstairs areas smartened up. Egon is a great host and all the staff excellent....
