I stayed at Il Cantuccio for a weekend from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon. On the whole a lovely experience. The views are breathtaking and the fresh air is unbelievable. Perfect for a relaxing break from the hectic hustle and bustle of everyday life. The landlords are pleasant and helpful, especially the lady of the house. The rooms are comfortable, if only a little cold in temperature and atmosphere. The place is clean but lacks a certain something. If they could change a few tiny details, I think it would make a significant difference. A car is a must. i was able to visit Perugia, which is a 45 minute drive and stopped in Assisi on the way back. Spoleto Town Centre is about 10-15 minute drive and is very pretty with lots of narrow winding little streets and some interesting shops. Also went to Trevi which is a lovely town about 20 minutes away. And about 20 minutes away is the very pretty little village of Scheggino which is worth a visit.…
