The hotel Miramare is a good place to stay on Stromboli. We received a warm welcome and very friendly service. Our room was quite cramped - it was fine for a short stay but we'd have found the lack of floor space awkward had we been there for several days. Although the breakfast was fairly basic, the quality was good... More

The hotel has a great position opposite the beach which was empty on a sunny May afternoon. They picked us up and dropped us back at the port (to catch an early boat) and gave us a picnic breakfast in our room as we were leaving so early. We had a very nice balcony where we could sun ourselves and... More

I would stay there again. We spent only 1 night. They picked us up from the boat, and suggested a good place to eat (not many choices there). Next morning they offered to make an earlier breakfast since we were leaving. Good breakfast. All rooms have sea veiw. We woke up to the sound of waves lapping (and my husband... More

Hotel Miramare is located just above a small beach and has beautiful views over the beach and the sea. The sea was full with jellyfish so no cooling down in the water (not the hotels fault, I guess ;) ). Our room had its own balcony with chairs which was a great place for relaxing after a tough Stromboli climb.... More

Only stayed one night in early June of this year and it was a good hotel for what we needed it for. They get you to and from the port with their own transport. The location is great- in town and across the road from the beach. Breakfast is typical continental Italian style- bread, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. Hotel is... More

Great value, lovely views of the sea from all the rooms, big sandy beach in front of the hotel, very relaxing! It's next to the more expensive Sirenetta, which we considered staying in but decided against since the only thing that made the Sirenetta better, in our view, was their pool, but what's the point of a pool when you're... One has to consider, that Stromboli is not a fancy or funky Island of the Eolian islands. It's more laid back, simple, back-packer style. Therefor the Hotel Miramare is above level and offers nice and clean rooms, all with sea view and little terrace. Breakfast is simple but OK. Speed boats arrive early morning from Milazzo (Sicily main island) and... More
