We spent two nights at Albergo Brasile in August 2015. We had a very pleasant stay. It's a little walk from the centre of town, but that's a good thing. Pinball, the owner, could not have been more helpful with advice, including booking us on to a night time hike up Stromboli (definitely do this if you are visiting the...

Stunning view from the terrace overlooking the sea, beautiful lemon tree filled garden and slightly hidden location made for a restful stay here. It's quite a walk from the port but once your settled it's really no distance at all. The rooms are basic but comfortable and have shutters if you want a lie in. Breakfast is served in a...

I highly recommend the Brasile as a very good place to stay on Stomboli. It is a very short walk from an excellent sandy beach. It is on the path up the volcano. The Brasile is comfortable, and clean. The hotel (or B&B) is set among trees and a garden. It is pretty and romantic, with great views all around...

The hosts are very helpful, the small houses are nice arranged and the view from the roof terrace is perfect; the sea in on one side and Stromboli - with it´s orange gloom in the night - in the other. The B&B was fully booked when we stayed there for 3 nights in September 2014. But it was still a...

Really amazing hospitality, they have been very helpful & super accommodating. After checking out, we had left our luggage there and they opened the office just for us to pick up our stuff. The rooms are simple but have everything you need (including a fridge – quite handy to store cold drinks). I really liked the outdoors area in front...

We stayed a couple of days at Albergo Brasile recently and had a wonderful time. It's in a quieter part of the town away from the docks and noisey touts and has a peaceful and truly stunning view of the volcano, especially from the roof terrace where you can see the cloud coming from the top glowing red at night....

A group of 6 of us visited Stromboli in May 2014 and we spent 2 nights here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and ours even had a small fridge. The ensuite bathroom was decent and as others have mentioned the sun terrace on the roof was a good place to relax and enjoy the views. I would say only...

Ideal place to combine relaxation and exercise. The roof terraces are great for lounging in the deckchairs in the sun, enjoying the views of the mountain over the lemon groves of the Pensione or the Tyrhennian Sea, or enjoying the stars at night. The room we stayed in was large, with a fridge, en suite facilities and air conditioning. We...

I got very lucky on my trip to Stromboli. It was the shoulder of high season and I was 'winging it' on not making a booking. I had options on three places, and settled on Pension Brasile after looking at all three. I usually book everything in advance, but this trip was just so I could re-live the old days...

stromboli: charming island, wonderful sea, no cars, no light in the street in the evening, few shops, sunrises and sunsets noiseless the hotel is in a small neighborhood, near the volcano, it is very quiet; a simple structure without luxury (no spa, no pool, no tv!!!) among the lemon trees. friendly welcome and good food; great view of the volcano...

“All seemed quiet so it's just a preference of terrace or bed size really.”

“The "suite" on the lower end is where we stayed. It is the remotest and quietest. If you you love to hear music in the public or love other noisy things ... please don´t go to Albergo Brasile!”
GeraldUtahUSA, 15 Oct 2014 | Read review
“I honestly only saw my room which was quiet and peaceful. No A/C - but that was not necessary given the cool evening air. If I was as a couple I would definately take one of the bungalow style rooms at the back of the property. They have their own roof-top sun decks”
  • Clean, functional bathrooms
  • Minimalist rooms and island style feeling

“The room are little bungalows scattered among the lemon garden. AC only in the suite, but the ceiling fans help!”
