Small hotel facing the sea with easy parking. Clean, welcoming and comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby, free beach and beach clubs. For breakfast, if there are any special needs, you must first notify the manager who will accommodate your requests (e.g. vegetable cappuccino, vegan croissant...). We were happy with our stay and I think we will return.

We have stayed there for 3 weeks with our 1-year son. The hotel is just a few steps from the sea (the 1st line). It has been totally renewed recently, so everything is fresh and modern. The rooms are really bright and spacious (we`ve seen several of them). The ones with a sea-view are just amazing. The breakfast consisting of coffee/tea, croissants, biscuits, jam and nutella can be served at a blooming terrace, that is a real delight in the morning. The real advantage is the beach service (a beach umbrella, a bed and a seat) provided at a nearby establishment Lanterna appreciated even by local residents. The staff is very friendly and attentive, Sig.r Gianfranco was of considerable assistance to us all the time, Signora Ornella was very tolerant to the pranks of our little child. You can find everything you need for your vacations at the supermarket Orizzonte just one block from the hotel, there is plenty of restaurants within a walk distance. Service, location and amenities offered by San Carlo have exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for our great holidays.

Small hotel on the beach of terracina ,very clean and the people are very nice they will make your stay comfortable and at home,nice breakfast on the deck looking over the sea,great location. I highly raccomended.Thank you to all San Carlo team.

October 2011. Excellent hotel with great location right by the beach.Very good service and extremely helpfull staff made our stay most enjoyable. We would love to go back and highly recommend this hotel. One extra convenience would be to provide guests with a key to the external gate.

Wonderful hotel, value for money, most importantly it was fresh and clean. We enjoyed wonderful views of the ocean from our room.
Staff were friendly and very helpful recommending some wonderful restaurants nearby.
Great location to visit some wonderful italian towns. We spent four days here before heading to Sorrento.You will need a car to see the area, we saw so much making Terracina our base. Very few Australian's have discovered this little gem of a place.

This is a delightful small hotel with around 10 rooms. It is right on the waterfront with a rod between the hotel and the beach. The rooms are plain and very clean - spacious with air conditioning. We had a great room on the second floor overlooking the beach - superb views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had free car parking.
The breakfasts is good - fresh pastries and fruit as well as other bits and pieces. It was lovely to have excellent coffee from their excellent machine.
A tip for lunch - walk to the Conad and buy fresh bread rolls, prosciutto and cheese and bring them back to eat on the shade of the hotel terrace. You can bring your own drinks and just watch the world go by.
There is a fridge in the room. Some reviews were critical of the fact you are not permitted to eat in the room - you don't need to! Enjoy the lovely wooden terrace in the shade of the trees.
It is a 40 minute walk into town - along a lovely promenade. We tried to use the free bus but on three occasions ended up being dumped out at the wrong end of the beach at the end of the drivers shift!
I would highly recommend this lovely small and friendly hotel.

Very kind and helpful management/personnel, everything very cleanly, many restaurants, some shops and a "mercato" into foot proximity. Rooms with direct sea view are located at the coastal street with a breathtaking look at the sea and the beach.

We stayed 4 nights in Terracina and couldn't have been happier with our choice of hotel. Great location if you want to be near beach activities and includes access to chair, lounge and umbrella (a must to make the most of time on beach). More importantly, is how well taken care of you are by the staff. They work above and beyond to insure your comfort and enjoyment each and every day, at the hotel and to enjoy Terracina. A special thank you for all the special care I received due to an injury (while I was walking on cobblestones in old town). Never have I received such personalized care and attention to insure my comfort and safety during rest of stay. Very highly recommend Hotel San Carlos.

This hotel is situated perfectly in front of the beach and far away from the noise and bustle of the town center. It is clean and the staff work very hard to be sure you enjoy your stay. They went well above and beyond what is expected, making us feel well cared for and very comfortable. A+ plus for effort for this home away from home.

I've spent 10 days at this hotel in the middle of July and was absolytely happy that had chosen it. Room is new, nice decorated, is cleaned everyday. Beach is located opposite of the hotel.
Staff (just three persons) are very helpful and nice!
