Last year we were looking for a place to stay for a vacation not far from the busy city of Rome where they catered for families and children. And luckily for us, my wife stumbled across Le Palme Village. This place is an easy 1-hour train trip from Termini station in Rome, and a little bit further by car. They also offered to pick us up from the local train station.

We first stayed at Le Palme in September 2021, and we were so impressed that we recently stayed there again in May 2022. We managed to secure the same bungalow as the year before. The food at the restaurant is great. You have a wide selection of seafood and pasta dishes as well as a pizza menu. They constantly make changes to the food to keep it interesting and the Restaurant Matre de / Manager Micaela is fantastic, happy, and extremely helpful.

The cafe by the beach is incredible. In the morning there is a lovely lady by the name of Federica who works there. She is very friendly and she always greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome.

As we have 2 little boys we took advantage of the free family pack which includes a baby stroller, baby bath, high chair, and there other options you can request upon booking.

The boss of Le Palme Stefano even offered to drive us into old town Terracina one afternoon so we could explore the city at sunset. He is a fantastic guy and was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway with a family, but Le Palme would also be a fantastic place to grab a group of friends and get away for a 4 day weekend. They cater to everyone. Thanks, guys for looking after us and providing a wonderful and pleasant stay for me and my family. :)

Le Palme is a wonderful holiday village on the Italian coast south of Rome. We came from the UK to join family members from Canada and Italy and have just had a fabulous holiday there. The location is superb on a beautiful sandy beach with lovely safe bathing for children, the accommodation is excellent - very comfortable and with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The air conditioning was especially welcome in the high July temperatures! There were excellent beach facilities and a lovely bar and restaurant which we used every day because the food was so good. And above all, everyone who worked there, from Desiree and her colleagues in the Direzione, to the restaurant staff, the young entertainments organisers, and the cleaners, were unfailingly very helpful, professional and charming. We were greeted with smiles by everyone there, which enhanced the carefree atmosphere of the Village. Thank you, Le Palme - we hope to return soon.

Apartements very simple with extremly hard beds. Small kitchen but no plates, cups, knives, forks etc, so refridgerator was the only thing we could use. Apartment was clean upon arrival, but no cleaning whatsoever during the week we stayed. Private area outside the apartment was ok with table and chairs.

Staff very unfriendly and only italian-speaking. (except reception-girl which spoke a bit english, and were helpful and polite).

Wireless available for a fee, but poor quality. Aircondition available but very expensive.

Only a self-service cafeteria available on the campus. Not very good. Sumpermarked was OK.

Small but very nice beach, especially for kids. Chairs, beds and umbrellas available for a fee. Beverages and ice-cream from small kiosk, but no restaurants or cafes within walkin distance.

Worst : Le Palme Village is just 1,5km outside Terracina, but it is NOT possible to walk due to heavy traffic on the dark and narrow road with noe sidewalks. Bus passes i few times pr day, taxi almost not possible. (a staff-member helped us get a taxi, and we were ripped off paying 20 euros for a 2 mins drive!)

Yes ' it's absolutely amazing the location of this camping, directly on the beach with beautiful azure water and perfect weather.
And that's it I said because the question is : is it really enough the beautiful place to make up for all the rest?
And the rest is just so and so ... despite extraordinary guy who is helping with luggage and makes some maintenance jobs around. I do not know his name but he deserves a huge appreciation, thank you for all the help.
But coming back to the camping itself - it is small, all the pitches are sticked one to another , they are arranged in square boxes but you can't get there with your car. You have to unload all your staff at the gate and transport to your place with small carriers. That's quite big inconvenience in my opinion because if you are traveling with a tend and sleeping just few days in each place - you are used to keeping a part of your stuff in the car.
Barbecue is not possible as everything is so tight that you would kill your neighbors with the smoke if you only light it up
The good thing is that you can borrow a fridge that can be placed in your pitch and used free of charge during your stay, once again thank you to the service men that arranged everything.
Animation team: oh my God , there was a lady, a kind of the leader seamed to be....she was sooooo loud that I could barely hear my own thoughts.... come on that was exaggeration - good fun for her was probably meaning : " the louder the better " but considering the size of the camping it was far too much.
Especially that it was carried over to the late night and finishing around midnight, no way to sleep earlier with that terrible noise
Another disadvantage is that even though it is very close to Terracina you can't walk there as there is no side walk on the street and there are many cars passing by.
No special amines for young children in the toilet and paid showers with timer- so and so as I said.

We found this gem online.

The location is absolutely stunning. There was less than 20 meters from our tent to the azure blue water at the beach. Also it is worth mentioning that the beach is clean and very white. We had the fortune to be there while not a lot of others was.

The staff was very, very helpful at any given time.

This is definitely a site we will visit again in the future.

The beach is glorious; gentle, clean and safe. We were happy to let our kids wander unaccompanied.
The bungalow rooms are clean, newly decorated and spacious, with sheltered outdoor space.
The staff are super friendly.
