The Gartner design hotel with the Gartner family was a super relaxed holiday with a beautiful spa area, peace and quiet, pool area, great garden and great food with daily wine accompaniment by a sommelier (who was very courteous and empathetic - great sommelier and great wines, perfectly matched to the menu!)
Our arrival at the hotel was very relaxed, there was an aperitif and we were greeted by a very nice lady and we immediately felt at home! A cold sparkling wine with snacks was waiting in the room (we had spontaneously booked it at reception and it was implemented immediately - great!)
The 5-course menu was amazing every evening (we were there for 10 days) and always to our complete satisfaction - the kitchen and the serving team responded to requests and other changes to the menu without any problems. The breakfast buffet was also great!
Although we were there during high season, the hotel, restaurant and spa area were really quiet and we spent a lot of time alone in the sauna - I think it goes very well during the day and the hotel has a manageable size of rooms! Nice atmosphere.
The room with the view of the mountains was amazing!!! The room was quickly cleaned every day!

To be honest, I had concerns before the start of the holiday whether the hotel is not too much for me in the sense of good. Nevertheless, my husband and I decided to do it and, what can I say? It was the perfect decision. The Gartner family has managed to create a place that unites a lot. Modernity, creativity, openness, cuisine, friendliness, fun and and and and. But from the beginning. Even the reception at the reception makes you “arrive”. Funny and warm and that's exactly how it continued throughout. Reception, cleaners, sauna masters, SPA staff, technicians, Pilates trainer and of course kitchen and service are at the top level in quality and work on the guest. And all employees do all this with a professional looseness that has repeatedly brought a smile to our faces. Thank you very much for that. Our 14 days at the family-run Hotel Gartner were paradise. Both the Gartner family and the entire hotel team exude a special warmth, openness and enthusiasm.
Whether breakfast, sauna, gym or dinner - the view is always magnificent! The architecture of the entire hotel complex is a work of art both inside and outside, all the viewing axes are perfectly chosen. Every day we discovered new “eyecatchers” – a closer look up at the lighting in the entrance hall, for example, gives an idea of the finesse that is the basis of the design.
The evening menu is a feast for the eyes and the palate at the same time and one of the “Unpacked” every day. Diverse wines from the region, recommended by Istvan and Christian, support the culinary delight.
At Misko we always ended the evenings with one of his elaborate cocktails and a round of rommé. The heroes from the point of view of our Labrador Watson are certainly Heidi from the reception, who always has a lovely gesture ready for every two- and four-legged guest, and Misko, who immediately provides a bowl of cool water on hot evenings!

On the way home from the road trip we stayed at the Hotel Gartner again. Arriving was like visiting family! Friendly, lovely, welcome, very pampered. Leaving was like visiting family!
