Really wonderful place, excellent location, good value for money, friendly helpful staff, beautiful views from a delightful room and a lovely breakfast. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing weekend or a romantic couple of days. Very good restaurant next door. Atmospheric and tastefully furnished hotel that I would definitely stay in again.

My daughter and I loved our 2 night stay at San Lorenzo Tre in October. Simone was a perfect host, the rooms were lovely - very clean with everything you need, great breakfast, internet, free parking at the base of the town with a tram to the top, right off the beautiful main square. We happened to arrive on a...

San Lorenzo Tre is a tough place to rate. The ground floor of this six room hotel, really a bed and breakfast, is dark and deserted. You have to walk up two long winding flights of marble stairs to get to the hotel entrance. Once there, you are greeted warmly by Simone, who was generous and helpful. He even offered...

What a delightful place. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our few days at the San Lorenzo Tre. Fantastic central location, beautiful room, magnificent views, friendly staff and a secret roof garden. The approach is somewhat "discrete" but worth the adventure. Not a place for the geriatric but we loved it. Perfect.

Occupying the top apartment of a 400-year-old building near the cathedral, this hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated in period style, with tasteful updating, and is very comfortable. The staff are exceptionally helpful and charming, there is a sunny roof terrace and the rooms have breathtaking views of Todi and beyond. Up several flights of stairs, but worth it.

Considering the reviews I had read on trip advisor, I thought that San Lorenzo Tre would be a far different affair. We took a taxi, and it was wonderful to be able to be dropped in the Piazza de Popolo, steps from our doorway. But when we opened the front door, it was into a very dark area (which isn't...

Given the top rating in Trip Advisor reviews we were a bit surprised by SanLorenzo Tre. So, I am submitting my review to provide a more qualified endorsement. We agree that the location is great as is the staff.... but the area where you might expect to find reception is a dark unmarked vestibule with 43 steps up to what...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Residenza San Lorenzo Tre is primely situated just a few steps away from the Todi Cathedral. It occupies the second floor of a historical 17th century building without an elevator. La Residenza had been the home of the Gagliardi-Pellegrini families for five generations before the owner Marzia Morena opened its doors as a hotel to guests. The Residenza San Lorenzo Tre remains the atmosphere of the late 19th century, with every corner of the house, each piece of furniture, vintage framed picture telling the story of the Gagliardi-Pellegrini family. The central yet tranquil location with the amazing view from the Residenza San Lorenzo Tre makes it an ideal destination for those wishing to spend a relaxing holiday in the heart of the old city of Todi. A stay at the San Lorenzo Tre would be a memorable journey through time for those who seek the bygone era of Italian elegance. ... more   less
