Hotel Tuder in Todi is just outside the city centre. It is a family-run business with something less than 40 rooms. The employees speak English and are most helpful. We decided on a “Economy” double room which is rather narrow, but still sufficient to spend at ease one night in transit. The standard double rooms offer a better comfort because they are larger. The rooms are well maintained, furnished in a traditional style and for once are not design. The bath room is bright and clean equipped with a shower cabin. The free Internet worked perfectly. As often seen in Italy, the beds are fitted a blanket, instead of what I consider by far as the more hygienic way with a duvet that is covered with a fresh white linen. The towels in the bathroom are in Italian style too, made of a cotton sheet instead of being the usual Terry towels. The restaurant serves traditional, hearty, tasty food at a fair price. The restaurant is elegant with white dressed tables. There is a panoramic view on the Tibertina Valley and the vineyards. The breakfast is plentiful and good. Free parking at the hotel is possible in the garage or in the court yard. A supermarket is just around the corner. The historic old town is located about 1.5 kilometers away.…
Great hotel our first visit of which I hope will be many. Extremely comfortable room , very delicious food and being disabled was very accessible ,a great location for exploring Todi and the area. It was a pleasure to stay at Hotel Tuder and a reluctance to leave .
This clean and comfortable property boasts a very friendly and helpful staff. Liked the northern views of picturesque farmland on rolling hills. There is parking with an elevator and the town is just barely close enough for an uphill walk. There's a good supermarket next door. The attached restaurant is excellent. Good quality free wireless internet.Could use a little refurbishing and AC was temperamental at times. But would recommend staying here if in the area.
Just outside the center of Todi. Rooms are clean and spacious. Great view of the Valle Tiberina. Varied and rich breakfast. Parking is available. I have not tried the restaurant but my first impression was not favorable.
the hotel is quite nice, with spacious rooms, and we hD a wonderful view of the country side, bed was comfy, bathroom a good size and a great shower. The downside was the breakfast was very poor, with the same choice on offer every day of our 5 night stay, with he the exception of the scrambled eggs on two mornings, which looked dreadful, needless to say we didn't touch. The staff were very nice, quite charming. Eating out was quite a trek up the hill to the town as there was only one pasta restaurant nearby, which we would not recommend, but about 15minute hike up to town you come across Trattoria Da Piero E Silvana, excellent, I will do a trip advisor on that one .
