Quirky....I think that describes it. It is not new, swanky, with square rooms and matching furniture, posh nosh meals. It is....old fashioned, clean, tidy, has superb views (upgrade to a superior room on the top floor for the best views), rooms have a small tv, A/C and wifi (so it does have mod cons) it has a good sized pool,...

We had a relaxed, enjoyable and friendly stay here. Staff were lovely and helpful and the hotel has an old style charm. I would recommend it for anyone visiting the area, particularly for its views and space.

The Aequa hotel is the base for our Travelsphere holiday to Pompeii Herculean and Paestum. To make the best of the hotel upgrade to a seaview room which give you great views of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Room comfortable extremely clean and full of quirky Italian furniture. Apart from one night, when we had a buffet which was...

We spent a week here with Travelsphere. Our room-80 on first floor - was spacious and boasted plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Much appreciated this as we are seldom able to hang up all our clothes in modern hotels. The beds were comfortable, though my wife thought hers a little on the hard side. Everything was kept scrupulously clean....

Aequa Hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Circumvesuviana train station in Vico Equense. Using this line one can easily, and cheaply, get to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples and, in the other direction, Sorrento. Our superior room, no.85, had a large balcony with table and chairs, with a view of Vesuvius over the bay and of the hotel's...

We stayed for 4 nights. We had 2 in a quite acceptable room at the front with a view of the hills. We were then offered a lovely large room on the top floor with superb views and a lovely large bathroom. The staff were incredibly helpful always and the place was very clean. It was a little old fashioned...

We stayed here for a long weekend to visit Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast. While Vico Equense is some distance from Naples, it is very conveniently located for the places that we wanted to visit. The hotel is very pleasant, with warm, helpful staff. The swimming pool is enormous, very clean and lightly chlorinated. The views across the Bay...

Stayed here with my partner, ideally located near train station , easy to get to Sorrento, Naples , Pompei and so on. The hotel has a great pool area but it's not a modern establishment , more one full of character . I would return and I would advise it.
