This cozy apartment complex will take you on a step back in time to the 1200's. The charming decor is all part of the journey. The cobblestone streets lead you to many adventures both visual and culinary. They have many different configurations of rooms and each one is more charming than the next. It's worth several visits, especially in the... More

Our expectations were not high as we had read the reviews on here, but we knew that the gardens were a redeeming feature and they were, infact, quite lovely. The entire structure could do with a revamp, it is old and tired and the rooms are dark and gloomy, with curtains that need replacing. However the bed linen was clean and the towels... We stayed here in May (2014) so we could watch the Mille Miglia pass through Viterbo the next day. GPS took us right to the door in the ancient Borgo, but it's a bit tight in a Freelander. We chose this place (through Booking.com) because it looked a good option to stay with our dog, and from that aspect it... More

I've been there with my family, 4 people, and I found a very quiet and relaxing place. Close to the Viterbo city center is a very nice place, friendly staff, room very clean and confortable. I found just three small errors: No humidifiers on radiators. No container for the bar of soap. No espresso machine for breakfast. I hope the... More

We'd booked a suite on Booking.com, but were told there was no space upon arrival. Polish owner Cristina was a character at best - insane at worst. After half an hour of unnecessary arguing (we weren't even protesting), she kindly checked for availability in other hotels. Ultimately, she drove us to the Balletti on the other side of town. Telling... More

I got a nice apartment with a view facing the gorgeous gardens with the fountain and the ducks walking around. The garden was just amazing, and i was alone there reading and enjoying for a whole day. Only thing i could hear was the birds singing in the trees and the ducks walking around in the grass. The room was... More

A potentially beautiful place destroyed by the people who run it with incompetence and arrogance. The woman who claims to be the boss but accepts no responsibility and apparently never heard that in the service industry the client is always right is extremely impolite! Room was cold with a thermostat that ticked like a bomb, light pore in through the... More

We stayed in a junior suite - it was on two levels - downstairs kitchen and upstairs bedroom, bathroom and a balcony. The room was warm and beautifully decorated - like a castle! Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. We had the key to the garden which is gorgeous! Breakfast was good enough and staff very polite and helpful. 10... More

The most wonderful place to stay. Right in the centre of the medieval quarter. Full of charm and with the most fantastic staff. Crystina, the boss, is worth the price of admission alone. We stayed for four nights and were very comfortable and felt as though we were special because of the attitudes of the staff. The rooms are spottlessly clean... More
