We came to the Medieval House in October to do some sight-seeing and exploring of the area. We also brought our bikes with us and they graciously allowed us to keep them tucked under the stairs. We found the B and B to be very clean and the price was good, The staff was absolutely wonderful too!

We were cycling the Via Francigena with friends and were relieved to get off the crazy main road into the relative security and seclusion of the walled city of Viterbo. The welcome by the exceptionally attentive host was phenomenal. Having tucked our four bikes away into a corner of the breakfast room we were taken to the annexe across the...

Cozy and hospitable B&B in the historical part of the city. Nice clean rooms furnished with good taste. Delicious breakfasts introducing local products. Excellent service, very attentive owners. Awesome place to stay and enjoy one's time in Viterbo!

I chose this B&B because of the location- an easy walk from Porta Romana station and also because it was so close to Europcar to rent my car, rather than try to drive out of Rome. What a wonderful surprise to find it was also such a delightful place to stay and Viterbo such an interesting town to visit! As...

Matteo operates a superb accommodation near the heart of Viterbo. Attention to detail, from the furnishings to the wonderful breakfast make this B and B one of the best we have stayed in. Matteo was a fabulous source of information on the area and nothing was too much trouble.

The B&B Medieval house is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Viterbo, but in a quiet street away from the noise of the city. When we booked we didn't notice a rider that said we should contact the owner with our arrival time; consequently when we got there it seemed completely closed, but the lovely Matteo arrived...

we recently spent a week at the B&B Medieval House, and were delighted with the accommodation and the hospitality. we had booked based on the trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Matteo takes great care to ensure you have everything you need and the extra treat of having his family's cured meats offered at breakfast was very special. we...

We just had one night here in transit between Northern and Southern Italy. Viterbo itself was a great place to stop for one night...not touristy like Orvieto but fascinating to wander through the streets and admire the old architecture. It is a little hit by the "crisis" but we thoroughly enjoyed it. B&B Medieval House was the perfect place to...

We often stay in Viterbo for our first night between landing at Fiumicino and going on to the first site of interest after a good night's rest, as it's an easy drive from Rome. This time, we stayed two nights, so we could explore Viterbo, and a good idea it was. We stayed in the tower of this B&B, across...
