We'd selected the place based on Agriturismo recommendations and I need to say we were not dissapointed - nice, reasonable price to quality, very good food. The place itself is quite far from the main road (nearly 15 minutes drive) but definitely worth it. Views are amazing, quiet and peaceful, pool to enjoy after intensive day of sightseeing. Worth ordering... More

We stopped at Orgiaglia by accident. We had a very warm welcoming by the owners. They told us about their place. The house looked very well maintained. It is a great place to immerse in tha nature. The food was extremely delicious and fresh.

Warm and welcoming. Yes there might be areas of improvement (pool area, ventilators in the rooms etc) but nevertheless I am happy to give this place 5 points of rating as we had an extraordinary stay. It's not easy to find a place that makes you feel so welcome and as part of a big family. Its run by the... More

Orgiaglia is a truly wonderful place to stay. If you are Italian you will experience traditional Italian family hospitality at its best. If you are not Italian you will become embraced in a real Italian way of life and be transported away from your normal everyday routine by becoming absorbed in warm Italian hospitality, wonderful authentic Italian food, first class... I have lost count of the number of times I have been to Orgiaglia. It is always wonderful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with on-suite facility. The food is first class, Franco is a master chef. The pasta dishes the bistecca alla fiorentina and chianti wine are to die for and truly authentic. Anyone planning a trip to... More

We spent two nights at this farmhouse, a lovely place far away from everything else. We was upgraded from room to apartment as they had one available. The owners dont speak much english, but communications goes well in a mix of all languages :) besides, their daughter helps with booking on mail and phone- and her english is excellent. The... More

I recently stayed for four nights. The hosts are fabulous and the dining experiences in the evening were suburb. I probably had the best funghi risotto I will ever eat in my life one evening. The breakfasts were so-so. The place is getting somewhat rundown. I'm sure it was beautiful when it was first built many years ago. The driveway... More

We just end up at Orgiaglia by chance, following a road unkown to us in a "let's get lost in the Tuscan countryside" day. We just spend few hours with Franco's family and taste some Tuscan style specialities. Awesome. Truly recommendable. It was a wonderful experience that cheer us up the rest of the day. Thank you guys, you are... More

It really is isolated but the welcome you get makes it more than worth while. The food is rustic and hearty and meals together are amazing fun. Franco, Umberta and their daughters go out of their way to create a relaxing family atmosphere. We had wonderful evenings, lovely meals, international games of table football and were very close to nature.... More
