Not a lot of choice for breakfast (at least not when you're into sweet stuff), although it is a farm kind of unpleasant smell. Not superneat, but the staff was SUPER friendly and helpfull. Nice look of the room, but no television

I've been visiting Lischeto since I was a kid. Giovanni is the best! The farm is set back, always from town, and it's a great place to have an authentic meal while visiting Tuscany. Dinner is about 5 courses so come hungry. The cheese and olive oil are all made right here on the farm. If you're lucky, you'll get...

We booked 4 nights at Fattoria Lischeto as we wanted to switch off from our every day hectic routine. As always my reviews will represent my total experience at this place. Let's start with the surroundings. The farm is situated in the middle of nowhere, cradled in the beautiful tuscan hills, so the perfect getaway. Getting there might be a...

I reccomend this place to anyone with a sense of adventure and the need for a getaway from the city. As soon and we arrived, yellow flowers and rolling green hillsides suurounded us. As we traveled further toward the farm house, you could see the farm's symbol presented as a giant stone statue. There were many different sleeping quarters, all...

We visited Fattoria Lischeto 6 years ago on a tour of the farm. We never forgot it! This trip, we decided to stay at the farmhouse and we were not disappointed by the accommodations, the staff and LOVED the restaurant. Staff welcomed us VERY late for our scheduled check in. We were seated immediately for what was the warmest, kindest...

The drive to get here may seem a bit winding, precipitous, bumpy and endless, but the countryside is stunning - just keep your eyes on the road, though! We did not have the opportunity to stay here, but our afternoon here was extremely memorable! Our lunch included beautiful house chianti, fresh cheeses, one of the best lasagnes I have ever...

We were part of a coach group from a cruise ship and usually avoid tours with included meals as they can be very mediocre but this was a delightful surprise. The setting is lovely down a winding unsealed road but the coach managed perfectly. We had cheese and meat platters with lovely bread and bruschetta to start, followed by lasagne,...

I went here with my students on a cheese tasting outing. We had a fantastic time. They take you through the whole process of how cheese is made. And afterward... the cheese is out of this world! I wish I could have taken more home with me! Great staff and super beautiful estate.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Holiday Farm House, Relax & Gastronomy Culture At the Agriturismo Lischeto you will be greeted with a warm welcome and with the traditional Tuscan hospitality "Home from Home". During the renovation of our Agriturismo we have used Biological materials & products. The family run holiday farm house is situated on top of a hill right in the countryside, where you can enjoy the marvellous panorama overlooking the luscious cultivated pastures and the particular unique morphological scoured cliffs called the "Balze". A view not to be missed during the sunset, the reflection of the sun that bounces off the cliffs which creates a spectacular show of colours. If you are looking to get away from the hectic city life, this is an ideal place to come for the whole family, those with or with out children. Thanks to our rural, tranquil and artistic environment you can spend your holiday or weekend in total relax. It is possible to visit our cheese laboratory and watch how we make our pecorino cheese and you can also visit our animals. During the summer months our swimming pool is open and while bathing you can admire the marvellous view. We invite our guests to taste our organic products in our characteristic tavern, such as our pasta, extra virgin olive oil and pecorino cheeses. All our traditional Tuscan and Sardinian dishes are home made and locally produced. We like to please all our quests as everyone has different dietary needs. On request we can offer vegetarian and vegan meals and a specific menu for those who have food intolerances. We look forward to welcoming you in our holiday farm house "Agriturismo Lischeto". ... more   less
