We had 2 nights in the San Lino in October 2018 when on a pre-booked self-guided walking holiday between some of the hill towns of Tuscany. The hotel is well kept and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was perhaps a little small for two people and their luggage, and why is…
Very comfortable and relaxed. Full breakfast, firm beds, small bathroom and tiny showers. There's some sort of stink that comes up from the plumbing which explains the air freshner plug-ins. Not too bad, but noticeable. The hotel staff is excellent, and the location is very good …
Small beautiful old town, clean and pleasant, slightly luxurious hotel. The city has many historic buildings. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and rich. Parking was at the hotel garage for a small fee. Out of the street, he put up a noise to the room.
This hotel I recommend for its helpful friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms and the wonderful pool. Its location is excellent for exploring other areas or simply staying and exploring Volterra.
Breakfast choice is what I would expect at a five star hotel and nothing is too …
Rooms are OK but not more. Had air-conditioned rooms which was well needed. Very friendly staff. Nice pool, not good for smaller kids though, deep all the way. Good breakfast. Just inside the city walls. Parking available for a fee which is recommended.
"Front rooms can catch some street noise. If you want a quieter night ask for a rear or courtyard-facing room."
"Rooms facing the pool area are quieter."
"Have stayed on second floor and third would recommend all rooms"
"Rear facing probably quieter."
"I understand that the rooms on the pool side of the hotel are of better quality."
