I have booked this hotel for seven nights in August great price but most of all I have been greatly impressed by the quick and detailed requests I have made to the hotel directly. We booked through an internet site who only had basic rooms for booking which I did through them I then contacted the hotel directly for an upgrade...

We booked two double rooms for 7 nights at booking.com. Our rooms were on the ground floor, simple furnished in traditional style, in the front facing the pool area. The only thing we missed was view from our rooms and a fenced terrace. The hotel, guestrooms and public areas were all over clean! We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool in...

I was surprised to read some negative reviews here, so just wanted to help by posting a positive review although it has been some years since I have been here. Nice rooms, the breakfast was great; so many things to choose from. We have also visited the restaurant a few times with great Tuscan food. The location is absolutely amazing,...

I visited at the end of February and Volterra was completely empty and everything was closed to start off with. The sign for the restaurant at the hotel was lit so we logically thought that we could eat at the hotel, no such luck as the resaurant was closed. Once we entered the hotel room we were greeted by a...

I've stayed at Albergo Villa Nencini many times over the years, and am drawn back for many reasons: The proximity to the town of Volterra, the beautiful views, the comfort of the hotel....but, most of all, by the warmth of the two "fratelli Nencini." Highly recommend a stay here during your visit to Tuscany!

This property has incredible views from its location. The rooms are well maintained but resting on the laurels of the early 1980's. There is parking on the property. Our room had small windows with view on the court yard. Wifi was extra. Breakfast was average. The staff was polite. It is a location of convenience. The car can stay in...

Stayed two nights as part of tour group. Beautiful views of the Tuscan hills. Our room was fine, spartan but very serviceable, and bathroom was good size. Great pool and lots of spaces to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine. Breakfast was typical, though kind of crowded due to layout of buffet, and coffee was not self service, so...

Very authentic Tuscan hotel just a few minute walk outside the walls of Volterra. Lovely barrel ceiling room for breakfast. Nice pool area. Ample lobby areas. Some rooms have better views than others.

With just 10 min walking distance from the inner Volterra, this hotel is just great. Wonderfull view of the Toscan mountains and hills, a nice garden with a clean pool and clean rooms. The rooms and swrvoxe in general is quite Italian; practical, nice, but not luxorous. Only one guy understands and speaks a little English, but hey, a smile...

We were delighted with this choice of hotel and feel it is a very good 3 star hotel. Our room with veranda over looking the good sized pool (and terrace area) and with stunning views of Tuscany was well appointed and spacious enough for our 4 night stay. Definitely worth paying for the deluxe room. The location made for easy...
