We traveled around Tuscany 8 days and we were in 5 hotels. It was the best place of our trip. Grazie, Orietta! Wonderful views of Volterra, 4 km from the town. Nice garden with pool. Beautiful rooms. Very tasty dinner and homemade breakfast. We could not and did not want to leave... We plan to come back next year!

Great location - in the middle of Tuscany hills. The villa is nice old house, with small, but cosy rooms. Beautiful view, excellent food in the restaurant. Friendly staff. Only 4 km away from town of Volterra. I would definitely visit it again.

Lovely location just outside of volterra (may favourite quaint little tuscan village). Very friendly couple that runs the place and even though our italian and their english was equally limited we managed to understand each other quite well. Their daughter speaks good english and was very helpful. Nice restaurant on site at which we had an authentic home-cooked tuscan meal....

We were so fortunate to find and stay here. Wonderfully run and lovely set up. Beautiful authentic look and feel, but so comfortable and lots of lovely little touches. Beds very comfortable, you could tell a lot of thought had gone into making it look inviting. We decided to stay for dinner and had some lovely local delicacies on our...

This is a very nice family driven place, that more than exceeded our expectations, especially since the rate was so low (70€/night). My husband and I were met by the owner and his daughter in a very welcoming way, the daughter spoke perfect english and they were both very serviceminded. We were going to Teatro del Silenzio/Andrea Bocelli and they...

The Villa was well situated on the hills of Tuscany, the view of the surrounding is really fascinating. Take the dinner offer with! It's good and quite romantic ;) The WiFi is a bit unstable, but it's more of the reason to enjoy your holiday away from the media!

Let me start by saying I'm not one for moaning and have stayed in some fairly basic accommodation in my time. I booked this with my wife, and having read the reviews, we were looking forward to our visit. We arrived in the bar/reception area in which were a number of late teens/early twenties females who were less than welcoming...

I went there in May 2015 for 3 days. We got an upgrade to the "Tower" Appartment because of some technical problem. Nice view, nice food (breakfast, dinner). Lovely Owners ... but only the daughter speaks english :-) Not blocking but strange for a place so close to Volterra A pity that the swimming pool was not yet open. I...

We arrived at Villa Otium after cycling from San Gimignano through Volterra. It's about 4 km outside of Volterra located on a bluff overlooking a beautiful valley and the cliffs on the north side of the city. The room was very nice and comfortable and the owners (Virginia and her parents) were exceptional. We had a very, very, very nice...

Villa Otium is heaven where you will find hospitality, kindness and tranquillity. Immersed in the heart of the Tuscan countryside and only a few kilometres from the splendid Etruscan city of Volterra, which has been the cradle for history and culture for the last 3000 years.
