A very picturesque place that has conquered me since I saw him. It's worth walking, bathing in the outdoor pool, drinking a cocktail on the terrace and in the evening, eating a delicious dinner at the castle restaurant. I recommend this place

We loved our turret room, and we were very pleased with the service and the food. There are lots of stairs so this is not the place for elderly or disabled folks who are not up to stair climbing. The gardens and pool are beautiful.

We had a car. The hotel is a few blocks from a commercial strip, but we had to drive to get to pretty much anything. There are lots of hiking trails, city centers by the hotel.

The Chateau is not in a town. The large city of Tours is in the area, but you need a car to get there. Don't know about any public bus service.
