Nice three day stay at La Tortiniere (in the castle itself) during a family vacation. The hotel, and its restaurant, have plenty to offer. The hotel is surrounded by a large park, allowing vista views from the rooms where we stayed. Our rooms were large and cozy, with traditional furniture pieces - very comfortable atmosphere, very quiet nights, but also...

We stayed there with our 2 children in July and liked it overall. We had a nice room in the tower and the service was very good. Our children loved the pool and it was centrally located for the Loire castles. The only thing that really made the stay unpleasant was the restaurant at night. The prices were unreasonable and the...

W stayed here for one night, unfortunately. The grounds are beautiful and we had a beautiful room in the old stables. Our meal was excellent as was the service. The property has a swimming pool that we unfortunately did not use. Great place to stay if you plan on doing the Chateaux de la Loire.

I rated this a four as upon arrival, the first room we were given wasn't that great. It was nice and clean but the room had definitely seen better days. We ended up changing rooms and the only room they had available was one of the suites! This room was fantastic and the bathroom modernized. Ratings re: service, value, etc...

We arrived at Domaine de la Tortiniere after a driving from Mont Saint Michel (abour 3 1/2 hrs). We were traveling with our adult son and stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were nicely decorated. However, my son's bathroom was a tub/shower combo that only had a handheld spray (there was no wall attachment). Yes, it was...

My husband and I arrived at Domaine de la Toriniere after a long day of touring the Loire in the rain and wind. Pulling up was like a dream come true - it really is like a castle from a fairy tale :). When we got to the check-in, they told us that they had given us a complimentary upgrade...
