Excellent stay at Sherwood. I have only been to center parcs once and this was Whinfell so was good to try another. Check in took 10 minutes maximum and we were in Willow so it was a 2 minute drive and we got to leave the car outside the villa - bonus! We had a 2 storey 1 bedroom lodge...

OK. I was ready to find fault with the Centre Parcs experience, and I really didn't think it was going to be for me but it was recommended to me by friends so we gave it a go. Within 24hrs we were talking about going again..! The basic concept: ditching the car and walking, cycling and swimming for a few...

Long term Center Parcs visitors as it is still a good place for extended families to meet and enjoy together. BUT increasingly it feels we are being milked for our money. Eating out is so expensive for very ordinary food, similarly some of the activities. Don't bother with the easter egg decorating, buy yourself a cheap egg, a few sweets and...

We stayed at Sherwood Forest over Easter weekend and wanted to make you aware of our strange experience. We arrived on the Friday and it was a fantastic day. On the Saturday morning the jacuzzi switched itself on and we didn't think anything of it. Our dog was acting strange and growling at the thin air and absolutely hated being...

Another annual visit completed. We were a group of 5 families and thoroughly enjoyed the stay as usual. Lots of activities for kids and adults of all ages. Nice and peaceful environment. Good sized villas, plenty to space to roam around. They need to restore the Easter Sunday chapel service which was well attended every year.

This was our first family holiday with our 7 month old and also a celebration of my 40th birthday. We had heard good reports but weren't sure what to expect. We had an executive lodge for 4 nights during the Easter break at around £600 so it was quite reasonable. I booked a couple of treatments at the spa and...

We had lodge number 885.It was a 4 bed roomed woodland lodge with 2 bathrooms. There were 6 adults, an 8 year old,a 6 year old and an 11 month old baby..I was worried the lodge may not be big enough and 2 bathrooms wouldn't be enough. It was fabulous. Maid service every day. Spotlessly clean. Plenty towels and crisp...
