After biking the Via Verde I was welcomed and sat down in the restaurant that offered a delicious meal ( vegetarian in my case...which still is a treat in rural Southern Spain), a place to store my bike and a fantastic room with a view: comfortable, clean and quiet....except for the lovely background sound o a cricket :-) . We booked the apartment for a family of four as an overnight stay, in order to start the route de la via verde. The apartment is simple but clean and right next door to the restaurant and bar. The food, to put it bluntly is absolutely excellent...homemade and locally sourced produce and the prices extremely competitive. The service from all...

Came here twice last week. It's in the most amazing position on an old railway line which never saw a train. Google it. First time had some excellent jamon serrano and queso bocadillos. And a good rest as had been lost. Liked it so much came back next day to walk to the vulture information centre (12km away)where saw 30...
