The golf course is in excellent condition. A beautiful scenery and an abundance of wild life. The LF Cabin was a nice experience. Especially the view across the lake during a lightning storm. The back of the cabin is about 30ft away from the water. Unfortunately the a/c is not able to cool down the entire cabin and you need... More

Stayed in the luxury beachfront cabin! very beautiful, modern and clean with daily housekeeping and towel service. The couple who runs the store and marina are outstandingly sweet! The beach could use a grooming and cleanup (pretty gross to be honest) Nice playground, no paddle-boats, bikes etc for the kids though. Overall a great experience.

Spent a night in a cabin near the conference centre for a golf play and stay. Two twin beds at either end (4 in total) window A/C, full size fridge, indoor plumbing including tub and shower, TV and dish, propane BBQ. Kitchen table and four chairs plus a couch. Pretty much all you could want. However, could feel a bit... More

Excellent cooks at the bistro. We have a cottage at BP and always try and support the restaurant/lounge...not hard to do these days! Great prices and quality food. I admit I have a weakness for the Newfie fries...think French fries, meat, onions, gravy, and tons of cheese!!! Have not stayed in the cottage for a number of years as we... More

We recently had a family reunion at Buffalo Point and while the resort was struggling with high water issues, they still did everything possible to not just accommodate our group, but to make sure that we had a good time. Don, Val, Mill and all the staff at the resort were extremely helpful, cheerful and efficient. We were able to... More

We have been doing a yearly one night golf trip to Buffalo Point for about ten years and have stayed in both the "Lake View" and "Lake Front" cabins. Both types of accommodation are rough in terms of quality and amenities with the "Lake Front" cabins being much more spacious and benefiting from the lovely views. Our recent stay in... More

I stayed in a resort centre cabin (kitchen/sitting room, 2 bedrooms, 4 single beds for $106) that was immaculately clean, close to the lake, across the parking lot from the restaurant. At the end of September we were the only people in the cabins and often the only people in the restaurant. With few customers, the restaurant was short staffed... More

We enjoyed our Stay and Play package at Buffalo Point. Our lakeview cottage was fine, basic but clean and quiet. The golf course was fantastic and we managed to play two rounds in spite of inclement weather. We also enjoyed both our evening meal and breakfast in the Bistro Lounge. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I was a last minute tag-along on this trip with a large family group. They had reserved at least 6 or 7 of the cabins to accommodate everyone so I got to have a look at both the Lakefront and Lakeside cabins. The Lakefront Cabins are newer, larger & definitely have the superior view. We spent most of our time... More
