We were staying at a local B&B for a couple of nights and the Cross Keys was recommended to us. We thought we would give it a try and ended up dining there both nights. It's a small establishment with friendly staff. We sat in the bar and ordered, had a drink and then were shown to our table when...

We stayed for one night while visiting a sick relative. In all honesty I'm glad it was just one night, the beds were very uncomfortable ,the room was dusty , the shower didn't work ,the toilet smelt of urine and my mobile phone was bigger than the tv.Breakfast was ok and as we were the only people staying there the one member...

I stay at the Cross Keys on a regular basis for business. The staff are always helpful and friendly and you are made to feel at home. When staying away from home it is nice to find somewhere you can rely on. I find the rooms comfortable with all the facilities you would want either for one night or several...

Met a friend as this was half way between us. The dog was welcomed and the menu had something for everyone. Both had a prawn and smoked salmon salad which was tasty and then the warm chocolate brownie was fab. Staff and locals welcoming and friendly. Would go again if passing.

Stayed for a night at this premises on a B and B basis to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. Hectic arrival, we were late and very pushed for time but the staff were efficient and swiftly got us booked in and on our way to the 'do'. They were both very helpful and sorted us out quickly and effectively. Came...

Returning to Chatteris where we had lived for three years, as Air Force couple stationed at Alconbury and Lakenheath in 1970, we made the Cross Keys our home for a week in May. So comfy, handy to shops, and friendly. Every morning breakfast cooked to order, bar snacks yummy, as were our meals. Room was perfect for our needs and...

I visited this hotel for an evening meal with my family, we were welcomed by a friendly bar maid which happily gave us menu's (I ordered sirloin steak with cherry and Stilton sauce) and took our drink order. The food arrived in good time, however the sauce is not what I expected. The sauce that was supposed to be sherry...

The family and I ate this evening at the Cross Keys Hotel, slightly limited evening menu but all sounding pleasant enough. We all went for the Sirloin which was well priced at I think £16.99. The plates where nice and hot and looked new, and the chips where fresh and double blanched. The onion rings where unfortunately of the reconstitution...

We were just there for one night, as we had an evening event in Chatteris. It's a lovely hotel - very old and quaint. Our room was small but comfortable - could perhaps do with redecorating at some point, but you don't stay in a hotel like this to stare at the wallpaper! Staff were nice and friendly, and the...
