I have been asked so many times to write a review and always so oh yes I’ll do it. Well here I am 😅 Can I start by thanking the manager and her team, they always go above and beyond for me and cannot fault a thing. I usually stay different days each week due to business and have been staying here now since November 22. I do ask for them same room as I really like it. It’s always warm and comfortable 👍🏻sometimes it can’t be done due to availability but that’s understandable. I also understand mishaps and misunderstandings at times but would never be so rude to any of the staff here. If I ever come across anything, I would talk directly and appropriately to one of the reception team. I get it may be noisy at times with other guests or customers out and about and of course this IS a motorway service station so you will at times hear it as well as truckers parked up 🤷♂️ I’ve read up on some of the reviews on here and I can’t understand the need for a nasty review at the end of the day everyone’s experience is different and of course will understand a bad one which would of course be rectified and put right with what I’d say a reasonable discussion of said issues. I happened to witness a few rather rude guests while here and it’s not always the person in front of yous fault. She was yelling and demanding and for two pence I’d of threw their backsides out of there for them 😅 also I was too there during the powecut and yes it was a problem for all (staff included) and you know they all still had a smile on there face and was getting the work done 👏🏻 I was offered to be moved to a nearby hotel and kindly declined and I was out for the match anyway and by the time I’d arrived back, it was all back on again. Yes this wasn’t the case for other guests to leave the hotel for the day or be able to leave at all. To sum it up I’d like to say a huge well done all and I’ll be back again next week 😁…

Having arrived on our business trip we were greeted by the lovely Sharon at reception who quickly friendly and helpfully checked us in.. Excellent service. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Staff excellent Good parking facilities and shops and restaurants close by.

I stayed here just before Christmas. I was booked for two nights and during the first night the power went out to the whole grid. So I was told I had to move as there was no heating or electric. I was told to contact management for a refund which I did. I spoke to management on the phone and they said they would authorise a refund plus one for the fee paid to bring in the dogs. Nearly a month later I have not had the money back. I haven't heard back yet even after multiple attempts to reach them. Financial ombudsman next I think!

Very lovely hotel. Will totally recommend. Staff were friendly and very helpful especially Sharon, she was always ready to help and her smile was very welcoming. The room and bathroom were neat and Everything worked perfectly. Also there are places around to eat and shop necessities. Starbucks , Burger King, Kfc , Waltrose etc. Money well spent 👌🏾.

Just wanted to write up about our recent stay. We stayed for 3 nights and we were visiting friends and family. We have used nearby hotels but came across this one and we were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. We had arrived earlier than expected and our room wasn’t quite ready so we were kindly allowed to leave our luggage out in the back, which to they even had taken up to our for us. Wow, that’s service. We then checked into our room and were delighted once again by how clean and spacious it was. Everything we needed to hand and very modern and up to date especially being a motorway hotel. Got great sleep here and wasn’t at all noisy even with a child in one of the rooms we passed. The room keeping staff were very chirpy and funny for the time of morning as we passed through and all staff were polite and welcoming as we came and went. Be back soon for sure.…

As soon as me and my friends arrived the staff on the reception was so so helpful and easy to deal with my queries. The rooms are so warm and welcoming. The house keepers/staff were exceptional and went extra mile for me and my friends. We would highly recommend staying here. We will go back if I’m that area :) Keep up the work

Lovely hotel would highly recommend travel to see family after Christmas and booked into the hotel for 4 nights staff on reception was polite and helpful the room so spacious and clean nothing was to much either when we needed anything or when we needed room tidying fresh towels when we needed them aswell will be using the hotel again when we come back to see family

I was recently passing the area when on the way to London for business/lecture so I decided to stop when I walked into reception I got such a nice welcoming she was lovely and everything looked so organised when I got into the room I went and tested the bed straight away and ohh my it was so comfy would highly recommend good value clean and the members off staff are so friendly a big thank you and i will definitely be back in the near future
