We stayed in this hotel as a couple for two nights and it was a perfect experience. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with private terrace with a Jacuzzi. It was wonderful to lie there looking at the beautiful town. The room was very clean, tidy and well equipped, with a fabulous shower area. We received a very warm...

We had a lovely room overlooking the river, quality sheets, good bathroom, & little country house touches. Had the continental breakfast on the terrace adjoining the river, great croissants, preserves, fruit, etc all very well served by courteous, polite friendly and efficient staff, sitting in the sun and the water tinkles by. The girls on the desk couldn't have been...

Could not be more charming anywhere on earth! And both the main restaurant and the associated bistro are wonderful. We just cannot wait to return. Park across the street for free...not in the garage. Spend the extra money on a tip for the maid!!

We stayed in Brantome to plan our local wedding and loved it so much we came back prior to the wedding with friends (married at a nearby castle), and requested the same corner room. Each time, we dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the quality and creativity of the menu. If you are a foodie, you will...

Brantome is a beautiful town and the hotel is located in the most scenic part of town next to an old Abbey in an old Mill overlooking the river. The public areas were charming, the bedroom we had was well appointed with a beautiful view of the river and an old footbridge. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They make...

I have wanted so stay here for over 25 years so my husband and I decided to push the boat out and stay for three nights. We were not disappointed, beautiful room, large comfy bed, linen & towels just perfect. The hi tech shower was in the bedroom which we found a bit strange but didn't spoil our stay. We...

We stayed at this hotel last year it was fantastic, the setting the service and food was first class. The receptionist was very helpful and the room was spotless. We overlooked the river, with enchanting views of Brantome. Dinner was amazing, and the service was formal but not stuffy. Breakfast on the terrace was top notch with plenty to choose...

We spent one night at Le Moulin de l'Abbaye in mid-September. We were happy with all communications we had with the staff prior to our arrival. Covered (in a cave) parking was conveniently located across the street. We were very pleased with our river front room (#2) which had all the details we required. The bed was comfortable and what...
