The site was set on a steep hill and it was not easy to negotiate a 7 metre camping car around the narrow roads and corners but once on a nice pitch with water and electric it was good. We had a very warm and helpful welcome from the staff and the toilets and showers were very clean. We could... More

Third or fourth visit but first time since Indigo took over. Our pitch was certainly not the best but was an ACSI pitch. If we'd known this we would have paid extra for a pitch with more to look at than a hedge. We'll know next time. Overall we were happy and Sarlat is as lovely as ever.

Hello, Thank you very much for your comment. We are sorry if you did not like the view from your pitch. It is true that there are many trees in our campsite and that several of our pitches are surrounded by hedges. However there might have been a misunderstanding because there are no specific pitches dedicated to ACSI members. For... More

We visited Sarlat 6 years ago, but our campsite was too far out to walk into the town. We chose this campsite as it is advertised as a 10 minute walk into Sarlat town centre. It is a 10 minute walk down hill, but up hill on the way back to the campsite. This was not a problem for us,... More

Stayed 5 nights and it was great. Pitches were big and nice. Lots of nice tall trees. The pool and mini shop were good. Staff were friendly and great. Showers and toilets were fine, although my daughter in particular did not like the closeness of the toilets. Sarlat is awesome. If Disney made a (tasteful) medieval town it would look... More

We had pitch 93 high up the hill and next to the woods and it was lovelly. The site was spacious and had a good sense of community. This was a stop for 5 nights in the middle of two beach stops either side and it was great to come inland see the dordogne and experience a pretty french town... More

Myself and my boyfriend have just spent two weeks at the site, using it as our base to visit Perigord. The location is fantastic, though on a steep hill, ten minutes walk down to Sarlat and closer to twenty to get back up. With our pitch being on one of the top terraces, we had to break at the entrance... More

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to share your comment with us. We are happy to read that you enjoyed your holiday in Sarlat, and that you appreciated our campsite and the friendliness of our staff. I'd like to starcrowdedying that the camp site is actually really good , it sits at the top of a hill overlooking sarlat , its a decent walk uphill on the way back so be aware of that but all the pitches are naturally shaded with well placed trees, well sized I've noticed a 8 man tent fitting comfortably into... Set just outside of the beautiful medieval village of Sarlat, this site is set in the hillside about a 10 minute walk to the village and down quite a steep hill. Coming back up you realise it is not just any hill, but a bloody steep one, which can be very difficult if you're not quite fit and able-bodied. Although... More
