You almost feel like you've entered another world when you open the gates to the B&B. The grounds themselves are beautiful, with many places to sit and share a bottle of wine by candlelight as dusk falls. From first greeting us after a 2 hour drive to Sarlat, Wendy and David were very welcoming and helpful, and made us feel...

Stayed with Wendy and David last year and we returned again. Need I say more. wonderful hosts, lovely garden, lovely pool for cooling off. Ideally situated for the medieval town of Sarlat. We felt that we were visiting friends, such a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them. Will definitely be back.

This is our seventh visit, need I say more. Always a joy. Wendy and David have obviously been very busy over the winter months......new luxury carpets fitted in the bedrooms and on the stairs, this does help with noise reduction when guest come in late at night. New decking and seating area around the plunge pool. Another new addition is...

Le Jardin was the only B&B with a garden that we stayed in while travelling in France and it was delightful. Whether sitting on the verandah reading English magazines, reclining on deck chairs in the garden or jumping in the above ground plunge pool the setting was idyllic. Le Jardin is a short 5 minute stroll from the centre of...

Recently returned from retirement holiday in France. Our main stay of the holiday was in Sarlat at Le Jardin and it didn't disappoint. Our hosts, Wendy and David, could not do enough for us. The set up is both homely and informal in a tranquil setting just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. To be welcomed on the terrace...

I recently stayed three nights with Wendy, David and Oscar.. They couldn't have done more to make me welcome. Loved the terrace and chatting with the other guests after a day spent travelling around this wonderful region. My room was comfortable and very clean and the breakfasts were substantial. Dordogne and Sarlat are truly amazing. However, our stay at Le Jardin was the cream on the cake. Wendy and David are superb hosts, they manage to achieve that rare combination of a homely atmosphere and slick attention to detail. We had an excellent week away this was in no small part due to us staying in this special place...
