We are staying at this lovely little hidden gem for 6 nights. It is run by two cordial hosts that cannot do enough for their guests. We do not normally do B&B's but this is exceptional from the lovely gardens to the ambience throughout. All meticulously managed by Wendy and David to exacting standards. We even enjoyed a home cooked meal with...

My spouse and I found our way to the Le Jardin Sarlat in the early evening after an overwhelming week in Paris. We walked through an enchanted garden to the door, rang the bell and were received. Indeed, David and Wendy received us with such warmth and kindness, that it was if we’d found our way home. They are masters...

We had a wonderful time spending three days with Wendy and David at Le Jardin Sarlat. The GPS lady can't get you there (as David will tell you, they are working on it) because she wants to take you down a walking path, but once you find it you realize you are just a few blocks from the charming medieval...

We had a wonderful visit with Wendy, David and David's mother. I hated to leave. The breakfasts were wonderful. I liked that we could walk into town from this location. A previous reviewer mentioned that Wendy and David are two of the ost charming people you are likely to meet and I agree wholeheartedly.

David and Wendy were great hosts and made our stay very memorable. The accommodation felt like home from home, drinks were always available from the honesty bar in lounge. The Town was very close and a short walk away from all the restaurants and bars. We look forward to another visit

We arrived in Sarlat April 2, 2013 via train from Collioure to Souillac. The owner David (native of Yorkshire) picked us up as we had no vehicle, and we were warmly welcomed by himself, his wife Wendy and eventually by Oscar, the lovely chocolate lab. David and Wendy provided us a buffet breakfast everyday and we had time to unwind...

Wendy and David provide an excellent and varied breakfast, and they are knowledgeable about the nearby sites and are full of valuable tips. We were fortunate to be there when David's 80 y.o. mother was visiting, and we could see a source of his joie de vivre. There is a walk of 3 minutes into the old town which is...

This was our third visit to Le Jardin du Madame and it is our very favourite B&B in France. It is the benchmark against which we judge all the others and David and Wendy have raised the bar again!!! Beautiful rooms, comfortable lounge, really warm welcome and they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The latest innovation...

There is a nice renovated property very close to the town center. Wendy and David are very pleasant folk, ready to help in everything. The breakfast is delicious - some 8 kinds of cheeses and 5 kinds of meat, not counting other tasty things. Nice garden - in summer time the breakfast obviously is served on air. The house is...

What a great place to stay! David and Wendy offered warm, friendly company, excellent advice and good conversation. We stayed there for 5 nights just before Christmas. Sarlat town was 5 minutes walk away. So much to see within the beautiful town and surrounding areas. Having guest area was great after a busy day, exploring. Thank you for our very...
