Our room was damp with peeling wallpaper. The bathroom was very shabby but thankfully with hot water. The room was very gloomy and was in need of serious updating. Breakfast was poor but the owner was very helpful. We would not stay here again.

Ok the setting is a bit like something out of Maigret but that said our room ( 13 but not unlucky for us ) was fine , plenty of room and a double socket by the bed, toilet and washbasin (we booked a shared shower room, only there for one night) was roomy and actually in the round turret shaped...

Hi, the hotel is very dated inside, whilst the facade is full of charm. Lino everywhere, old shower, old mould in the tray and seams, shabby, shabby not chic. And the 1 socket was not a joke. most people have mobile phones, and often laptops so how do we charge them. no parking is a real problem as you have...

Well from the outside this an amazing looking hotel- something akin to a chateau... Inside the story is a little different. The rooms are clean and tidy and the service very good. However, the room we were in was very worn and shabby, wall paper pealing off the wall, damp and musty, linotastic! That said- I had no issues with...

I just spent a fabulous weekend in Roscoff, once again staying at the FABULOUS Let Didu, Hotel D'ANGLETERRE. The hotel was buzzing as a wedding was about to take place in the ballroom, with many young Parisiennes in attendance. I was most warmly greeted and was soon relaxing in my clean room with the windows opened to allow in the...

This is not The Ritz neither is it a corporate homogeneous souless hotel. This hotel is charming, atmospheric, historic. What a find, it is true Breton with furniture in the ballroom made by the ancestors of the owners, presumably. Yes there is old link in the corridor's, yes the rooms are not modern and up to date, I would not...

It was an overnight stop. The staff were exceptional, however the hotel was something out of The Haunting. Very dated decor 50-60's era. In my opinion the whole hotel needed gutting and a rebuild. Our room no. 20 smelt very damp, opening the windows didn't help the en suite bath was something from the 1800. It was 4ft deep with...

From the outside this place looks quite charming - do not be deceived!! I did read the reviews on here prior to booking, but to be honest I find some people alarmist - I should have believed these though!!! We arrived having cycled from Morlaix in pouring rain and were soaked.... there was safe storage for our bikes which was...

I have been staying in Roscoff for ten years now. Taking short breaks in spring, autumn or as a stop over on returning from the South of France. I have stayed at many of the hotels in Roscoff more than once and usually book a three star. I was aware of the Hotel d'Angleterre having parked near it a few...

We have just returned from a two night stay in Roscoff with Torrington silver band. The lady at the Hotel d' Angleterre could not have been any more welcoming to our party of nearly 30. The rooms were clean and tidy and other people have commented on the musty smell, but you have to remember it is a very old...
