We had booked the hotel for us and our dog en route from Italy back to the UK. We had no idea that this was also home to a wonderful restaurant. A good friend mentioned he had eaten there and we should try so we booked for dinner in the main restaurant and what a treat it was!!! The staff...

Comfortable bed, lovely big bath and a shower. Exactly what we needed as a stop over on the way home. Right in the centre so perfect for exploring the town, but also very quiet. We didn't have time to look around but we did eat in the 'bistro'. Excellent quality food.

The hotel is in the centre of Chalon and well positioned to explore on foot, much on the centre is pedestrianised, with a mixture of old buildings and contemporary re-development. There is a private car park but access is tight, best to back in. A formal restaurant and a brasserie are part of the hotel and we went with the...

A welcome stop en route to the Alps. Good (secure) parking. Efficient front of house staff. Room was functional. Relatively cheap. However, the complicated restaurants slightly spoil the overall effect. There is a "gastronomic" restaurant with pricy food and pretentious service. And a "brassiere" with ... exactly the same. Perhaps the staff work in both and forget where and what...

As with most people, we stopped here on the way to Calais. It was clean and comfortable and staff were welcoming and friendly. We booked online whilst driving up and check-in was smooth and efficient. Just what we needed after a ling drive. We wish we had longer to explore the area.

My wife and stopped here for 1 night on 6th October while en-route from Versailles to Southern Germany. The hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre. we were warmly greeted on arrival with a welcome non-alcoholic fruit cocktail. The hotel is well presented in a smart modern style. The room was very pleasant, clean with a comfortable bed and...

As per many previous reviewers we enjoyed all too brief a stay at this very pleasant hotel in Chalon en Champagne. Firstly the place… hands up who's never heard of Chalon en Champagne? Yes we all know Reims and Epernet but this really is worth a go. The hotel is located in the very centre of town so everything of...

Very relaxing environment, lovely welcome, professional multi lingual staff. Very good breakfast worth the additional fee. DInner also a good experience, less pretentious than the menus appears, and lots of fait Maison, and nice atmosphere. Good WIFI, great beds, aircon, mini bar, bathrobes, and tea and coffee facilities, very quiet. Easy access, off road parking, and within the center of...

Two years ago, we booked this hotel for an overnight stopover en route from southern Germany to Calais. At the time we were delighted with our choice so had no hesitation in making a fresh reservation when we again needed to make exactly the same journey. As before, our room was spacious and well equipped while the en suite facility...
