Detailed Reviews
I really enjoyed a short stay here with my partner whilst we visited her family who live locally. We had a spacious bedroom and the fact that it is situated next to a shopping centre means that you have a very quiet night's sleep after closing time. it is in a lovely area which is good for shopping and it is a good walk to nearby Versailles. The friendly welcoming staff really were the icing on the cake. An excellant stay overall.

Being a usual customer of Ibis and Ibis styles hotels, I was absolutely shocked by the tiny rooms that this hotel provides. Still, I was impressed by how clean there were. Chamber maids clean and change towels every day. So, the rooms are very small, you just have some space to go around a queen size bed. Also, I noticed Ibis changed the beds, and they are not very cozy - one gets the feeling of sleeping in artificial sheets. Rooms has no balcony, just a small window. The hotel is next to a big mall, so the parking belongs to that mall, but we found it as being a good thing, since it was a covered parking place. The breakfast was not included and a little expensive, so we had it in the mall (opens at 10:00 a.m.) at Paul. Very very good and fresh! The hotel staff was very helpful.

We booked this hotel as we wanted to be near versailles palace. On entering a strong small was present and not a nice one. Also reception was 3 floors up!! Reception was small but clean with a bar. Staff was very helpful and spoke good english. Also full of useful information. Good large shopping centre next door with lots restaurants. Rooms small but clean and tidy.

The welcome is friendly and the convenient location to visit Versailles are the ONLY 2 positives. The room was tiny and reeked of cold tobacco (I’m a non-smoker it’s to vomit). The beds are just as tiny no more than 80 cm wide and my feet almost protrude (I measure 1m65). The icing on the cake.... Mattresses more than dated (or of poor quality) so worn that they form a bowl! In short, close to leaving the place in the middle of the night despite the fatigue to flee to find my bed. ABSOLUTELY NOT worth a 3 star and believe me I make hotels all year round with my work I have points of comparison.

The one thing they don’t tell you about this hotel is that the Westfield Shopping Centre next door is having some major building works carried out and the whole of the B&B Hotel is affected, day after day. At night it was quiet but work started at about 8 in the morning and continued all day. The whole building shook and wherever you stood it sounded as if a massive tunnelling machine was about to come through the walls. It was almost impossible to speak to one another over the din. We booked through Expedia and what amazes me is that they are still including it in their listing even after we told them about the horrendous noise.
We felt sorry for the staff at the hotel because they had put up with the noise and the complaints every day. They were very understanding when we said we could not take it.
We returned for a siesta in the afternoon and decided that we could not tolerate the noise so we checked out and booked into an Airbnb apartment which was delightful.
The hotel room itself was far from perfect with broken lampshades by the bed. This is very basic accommodation.
The hotel refunded us for one night out of three. Expedia take no responsibility whatsoever.
If you are planning on visiting Versailles then you should know that this hotel is NOT walking distance from the Palace and its Gardens. It’s an expensive UBER ride away.

Waked up at 11pm by a guest who managed to get into my room despite the lock. It is not so much the mistake made by the employees, but also the attitude of the intruder who insisted on convincing me that this was his room. I couldn’t find sleep again. Insomnia, vulnerability and anger, were my girlfriends for the rest of the night.

Very satisfied with my stay for the night of November 3rd to 4th at this hotel. The welcome was very nice, friendly staff and smiling 👍. Room for one person very comfortable and sufficient. The more the quality of the bedding and pillows. The top 👍. A very appreciable calm while my room overlooked the road side. Room very clean and smelled super nice.
I recommend.

When you stay in a hotel for two weeks, you get to experience all the good and the not-so-good aspects of an establishment. In the case of the IBIS Parly 2 hotel, the whole stay was wonderful, beginning with a warm reception from Paulo, who provided us with a wealth of information about transportation links, restaurants, and cheerfully arranged for a taxicab each morning. He is a huge asset to the IBIS organization. The rooms were as expected, Euro-tiny, but everything was always kept extremely clean, a credit to the staff. The beds are very comfortable and the windows open to allow fresh air - a big plus, since the hotel is located across from the main pedestrian promenade down to the Versailles Chateau gardens. The showers are great and there was always plenty of hot water. If you are not a fan of liquid shower gel, bring your own soap bars or pick some up at the adjacent mall. The rooms are also very quiet, we never heard any other guests in adjacent units. The free internet Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The 10 Euro breakfast buffet is excellent - every choice you could want, including fresh orange juice and great coffee. Being beside the upscale Parly 2 shopping mall was a notable advantage, as it allowed us to easily pick up fresh fruit, juices, cheese, wine, pastries, etc. and only have to carry them a short distance back to the hotel. The hotel is right across the street from a B-bus line stop, which will take you downtown for a couple of Euros. Recommended!

I booked three rooms at this hotel guaranteed for a late arrival... turned up at 8pm to be told there was only one room available as the hotel was full. Whilst this was going on the receptionist checked another guest in!
Eventually moved to an awful hotel by this hotel! Would not recommend or book again.

we stayed in this hotel for one night, while out for dinner our room was robbed as were other guest rooms on the third floor, there are no security cameras on the floors and there are old type door locks a child could open on the rooms .the lift goes from street level to the third floor by-passing the reception on the second floor. the staff know this is a problem and told me they have had this happen before. my loss was in the region of 3000 euro and holiday ruined, ibis need to address this serious problem. as any passer by can enter the hotels 3rd floor with out being seen. crazy, and dangerous for guests. so beware of this hotel for these reasons. to make matters worse i was asked to pay for the room even though i returned from the police station at 3am and had to meet the manager at 7am. very dangerous hotel to stay in. ibis need to deal with this before some guest s are hurt during a robbery.
