I had stayed in this hotel shortly before covid. And in 4 years, under the pretext of carbon footprint and climate change the service has evaporated, probably due to global warming, however it seems that the price resists high temperatures rather well.
Vintage 80s style bedroom with brown carpet that smells of stale tobacco. Service below all, no shampoo and soap in the room, no hair dryer. No mineral water, and empty minibar, but unlimited filtered tap water🤣 And the worst part is the frugal breakfast which is really lamentable for a hotel of this category with subpar service.
For a hotel a stone's throw from the Palace of Versailles and which is supposed to welcome tourists from all over the world, and therefore be a showcase of France, it is a shame.
From now on, I will avoid the green washing of this chain's hotels.

We stayed here for the Olympics to watch the Modern Pantathlon at Versaille. Hotel is a maximum 20-25 min walk to the Chateau de Versailles main entrance, while access to the gardens is closer (via Porte St Antoine).
We really could not fault the hotel with great service, rooms and location. We arrived by car and easy to find and own underground parking.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. We were originally give room 311 which reeked of smoke. It was a quiet Monday and I was also disappointed they were sticking us close to the elevator. They immediately gave us room 312 which had a much nicer view, was removed from the elevator and was free of smoke odor. We asked for an iron and ironing board and it was delivered immediately by a charming young woman that spoke excellent English. Overall the service was very good.

We spent one night in this hotel to visit the Palace of Versailles. It takes about half an hour on foot to get there quietly but the walk is very pleasant as it passes through the city center of Versailles, a delightful city, particularly well-kept with very beautiful and elegant shops. Excellent sound insulation in our room on the 1st floor overlooking a busy street. Professional and friendly welcome. The room, with a good design (superior category if I remember correctly...), was spacious, with a lounge area, a beautiful bathroom and separate toilet, a small entrance with a door with the bedroom allowing you to relax. guard against movement in the corridor (very appreciable and increasingly rare in hotels...), in short we were not far from Sofitel standing and all for 170 euros for 2 with breakfast (very correct). Establishment therefore to be recommended.

Charming hotel located at a quiet part of the city of "Le Chesnay" in Versailles. Everything from check in to check out, cleanness of rooms, food/breakfast bar was just as pleasant along with staff. Great experience at bar in the evenings after dinner. I had a room to myself and it was very comfortable and large enough. Bring your European charger plug as the room don't have USB plugs. There is a small fridge as it comes handy for drinks and small items. AC worked great in the hot first week of September. I like the walk in shower as it is large and nicely stocked. Breakfast is very similar to other Novotel hotel in Paris as they offer plenty of everything. Dined both nights at N CAFE in this hotel for dinner as the menu offered more to my liking few French dishes. I really enjoyed the French stake and it was well cooked along with great cut of meat. The are 3 bus stops right next to hotel at round about and on side street. I used bus line 5 to go to Parly 2 (shopping mall) to buy correct charger and found the mall very interesting with plenty to see. I used an app called Bolt for taxi or car services and used that to go and return from Palace de Versailles and town center.

Hot stay in a nice hotel! We chose this hotel in Versailles as it was half way from Holland to Morton in France and it accepted dogs and we were travelling with our 2 French bulldogs! Check in was great. Nice lady on the desk. I asked for a local restaurant recommendation for dinner as we arrived at 6pm. The lady showed me on a map an Italian a 10 minute walk away or a market square with lots 25 minute walk away. This was all there was. We were tired so our only option was the hotel bar for snacks. Disappointed as we wanted proper French food! Anyway kids has steak hatchet and chips which was ok. My risotto was a microwave meal that was revolting! In one lump! We then took the dogs for a walk and literally across the road was a divine typical French restaurant. We were so disappointed that we’d spent 73€ on sub standard bar food when that was tripping distance. Don’t understand why the lady didn’t mention it!! We had a delicious dessert there however and went back for breakfast! The sink in our bathroom was blocked so the lady from reception came to unblock it. Helped a tiny bit so washing and brushing teeth was yucky!! The room was so so hot. Was a hot day but the substandard air con didn’t work at all! We struggled to sleep if at all. They tried to over rude it after we called down twice but it barely did anything. We had the window wide open but it’s on a noisy street. Not a good night. Mentioned this on checkout Was very dog friendly which was great for us. Don’t stay on a hot day and eat across the road!! Enjoy! Also parking limited so arrive early!! Bear in mind that Versailles palace itself is a 34-40 minute walk away.

superb large clean rooms with fabulous bathrooms . Comfy bed and pillows and Couch also opens out into an extremely comfy double bed. Air conditioning superb and controlled individually . Double glazing allows almost no noise through. Kettle and tea and coffee. Staff couldn’t be more helpful with milk, directions, recommendations etc. especially the lady who seemed to be on duty every night. Thank you. There is a simple little bistro opposite called Bistro De La Place which we would highly recommend for authentic French food and lovely welcoming staff. There is also a cafe and bakery opposite. Around the corner is a small high street with quite a few restaurants and shops. Although we mostly walked into town (about 10 to 15 minutes) there is a No 2 bus outside which goes quickly to the palace, trains, market, restaurants, and all other attractions so you can be away from the tourist hubbub while accessing it easily.

I stayed in the hotel for a business trip. Good location, very modern, spacious and clean room, friendly and helpful staff (which also recommended us a great restaurant nearby). Waking up in the morning I found out that my shower wasn't working, which was naturally disappointing, however when I called the reception they sent someone in 5 minutes, moved me immediately to another room, and the morning after sent me some free snacks and an apology letter - so overall I was not upset at all with the experience. Breakdown might happen, but they treated it very well! I can recommend the hotel and will not hesitate to stay there again.

Loved this 3 night hotel stay. Brilliant location - it seemed to be 15 mins from everywhere ie train station, chateau, market, good restaurants. Quiet at night - we were on the main road and had 3 good nights sleeps. Comfy beds and pillows. Good sized family room, cleaned daily and a working safe. Lex (restaurant) and Magodli (night reception, apologies if I’ve spelt her name wrong) - excellent members of the hotel team! Great customer service and personalities. Reasonably priced, secure parking. The restaurant is definitely worth a go - kids menu was fantastic value and the adult food was good quality. Breakfast choice was good - only negative was the bananas on offer were pretty battered.

No toilet brush even after request Too few towels Hygiene bag holder empty when we got the room Bed too soft for my taste Toilet room was smelly (probably due to rough wall paper on the walls next to toilet bowl Breakfast selection very limited but what was available had an acceptable quality Breakfast area very crowded and absolutely no functional or practical hygiene concept in place or enforced. No fitness area but I got a gymnastics mat upon request. Overall an disappointment for a Novotel and 4 Stars which charges as such but does not deliver.

There is no gym in the hotel but there is a fitness center nearby and also the park of the Palace of Versailles (10mins. walk) if you want to go for a jog.
Parking is with the hotel, free. Prices, like all hotels, vary. Just choose a date and room, no need to actually reserve, to see prices. $100 - $200 per night. It is right next to the castle, so tourist seasons can be crowded, but I've always reserved in advance just to be sure I had a room. I'm not sure of height limit in their underground parking. You could call them and ask. They speak English.
Hi,
I think that 3 or 4 cars can be parked near hotel but this is more a matter of luck; we didn’t ask specifically for a parking place as we were there by plane, but i don’t believe they have. Price stand alone is reasonable but much to high for what you get; i would search for something else.
BR,
Ovidiu
