This is a cheap hotel, but it is not the least bit dirty or unkempt. We were two young women traveling alone, and the neighborhood seemed very safe. We are backpacking through Europe, so, obviously, our requirements are minimal, but I think they did an great job meeting them for a reasonable price. The day desk clerk speaks English, and... More

This Hotel is a typical 3 stars hotel, not fancy, service is basic, but the rooms are clean and bed is comfortable, and the triple room is big enough. However, the night shift receptionist doesn't speak English, the hot water took a relatively long time till we got it in the room and my wife had to take a cold... More

Decent rooms for the money but it's not actually Paris it is in Levallois. The closest atraction it's Moulin Rouge 10 euros with the cab. The Anatole France metro station (with a suitcase ) 15-20 min walking. A lots of restaurants and pizza places very close to the hotel.A train station its very close less than 5 min. walking.

I was a young woman staying alone and I felt safe, which I found very surprising given the busy location of the hotel. The room was basic but very clean and had (almost) everything you need for a short stay, it would have been nice to have a kettle for a cup of tea. The staff were always friendly and... More

Money well spent! This hotel is close to metro station (about 1km from Anatole France), very clean, comfortable and very helpful staff! The only thing I would change is to put coffee/tea and a kettle in each room as Breakfast is not included.

I am not certain if I can recommend the hotel. It is pretty far from the centre of Paris and a metro station but there is a train station SNCF which I recommend to use. I would not travel by this train during the night. In my opinion it could be dangerous for a single girl or a woman. The... More

I managed to get a great deal on this hotel (330 euros for 2 double rooms for three nights with breakfast included) so I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room & en suite bathroom and the quality of the bed, TV, furnishing etc. There was a small problem in that the toilet seat was loose but it... I stayed at this hotel in September 2013 and it was under small amount of renovation. The hotel was adequate, don't get the breakfast as there are plenty of nearby bakeries offering the same thing for less than a quarter of the price (the breakfast was pretty bad - stale bread, etc.). Close to the train station and the ride... More

Booked Hotel Briand for 3 nights to visit Paris at Christmas. As this hotel is very close to a trainstation it only takes half an hour to end up at Champs Elysees; perfect starting point to explore Paris! Hotel is clean, rooms are sober but comfortable and has a very friendly staff!
