I really can't say enough about this hotel. The reception staff are very efficient and professional whilst being very, very friendly. Our room was over the terrace restaurant so would have been a bit noisy if we chose to go to bed at 10pm but we didn't so it was absolutely fine. The restaurant itself is a bit pricey but...

Wonderful property, quiet yet central location. Nice decoration, attention to details, very friendly and professional staff at reception. Very spacious rooms with all comfort. Take the breakfast on the beautiful terrace and the adjacent garden, paradise. Very good local products on the breakfastbuffet, all waiters with a smile, perhaps bit lack of training there. If you spend some days in...

Loved the hotel and the staff, service was professional, prompt, and friendly. The grounds were beautifully maintained and very inviting. While the town is very small and quiet it’s a short drive or a longish walk to Avignon, which is livelier. Few things that might be a concern for some is in some rooms in the new Atrium building you...

Le Prieure is one of the most beautiful and tranquil hotels I have ever stayed. Wonderfully located in tha heart of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, boasts a lovely garden, tennis court and an amazing outdoor swimming pool. It offers an excellent quality traditional French cuisine (with the most amazing selection/quality of cheeses!!). Totally recommended!!

The title of my review is rather obvious but simply true. This is one of the most beautiful and (one single exception to be mentioned) tranquil hotels my father & I have ever seen. It is pricey, no getting away from that, but has the charm & style of a hotel influenced by dedicated individual owners rather than design consultants....

My husband and I stayed at Le Prieure for 3 nights in May 2010. We took the TGV down from Paris to Avignon, and then picked up a rental car. Because of the bridges crossing the Rhone and the mulitple exits off the main drag to get to Old Avignon, it was a little confusing getting across the river to...

Absolutely exquisite, friendly service joins the most authentic, beautiful Provencal site of a former priory in this wonderful property-- this is not only our favorite village of the many we have visited but also our favorite hotel of those we have experienced all over the world. Our room is supremely quiet -- number 53-- and comfortably appointed with superb mattress...
