Excellent City hotel in a short walking distance of the centre. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. The bedrooms warm and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on either a short or long stay. Andrea is very welcoming the home made jams at breakfast are superb

We had passed by or through Brive-La-Gaillarde many times by car or train but this was our first visit and we found it to have a lovely town centre with many old buildings and interesting shops. At Hotel Andrea we were only 5 minutes' walk away yet had no problem with evening parking on the street outside. Andrea, the hotel owner made us very welcome and prepared a great breakfast with home-made bread and jams, cereals, fresh and dried fruit and, best of all, good strong Italian coffee. The rooms are a little dated but clean and spacious. The downstairs bar and lounge areas are full of interesting retro items such as advertising posters. This is a hotel we will definitely return to as it represents good value and the genuine warmth of the welcome was much appreciated.

This little hotel in Brive was a delight. It is simple, clean and very conveniently located in a charming town on the edge of the Lot/Dordogne area. Andrea will make you feel comfortable and make the place like your home and the breakfast is fantastic. Check it out!

We stayed here because of price and proximity to the train station. The owner was very friendly and changed our room as soon as we pointed out a problem with the bathroom. This was our base for visits to Lascaux and Font du gaume because the car rental here actually had an automatic.

We slept here only 1 night. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet (make sure you get the room on the side of the garden). The owner is very friendly and cheerful. We didn't see the garden and we didn't have breakfast here. I would say that this is a good place where to sleep if you are stuck in Brive.

The hotel is an easy five minute walk from the town centre and we parked on the street outside. Andrea is very welcoming and chatty, and was happy to join us at breakfast. The bedroom was simple, clean and well soundproofed from the street (gardenside rooms also available). Very comfortable mattress and free wifi. We'll be back. Oh, there is also bar which doubles as the breakfast room.
