La Villa De Mazamet far outdid all our expectations as an oasis of calm from which to explore many of Frances great southern attractions, Cathar and Templar history. The luxurious and characterful property is less than an hour from Carcassone and Albi. Proprieters Peter and Mark offer exceptional standards of luxury and service, were welcoming, helpful and ffered good advice... More

Superb hospitality, beautiful accomadation, fantastic food and the Spa facilities was luxurious. We stayed at La Villa De Mazamet for a week in April, Mark and Peter are brilliant hosts. Their suggested itineraries and sightseeing tips were 'spot on'. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We have now visited the Villa de Mazamet on a number of occasions and are in awe of the way it has developed ,purely by the love, care, attention to detail, and very hard work of Peter and Mark. It is becoming a'sanctuary' a place to go to find comfort, delicious food, and peaceful surroundings. The spring gardens were a feast... More

We have stayed in lots of French hotels and B&B over the years and being an extremely critical pair, have never really felt the need to "gush" before - in fact a bit to the contrary really. Villa de Mazamet - we adored it! Its obvious the venture is a labour of love for Mark and Peter and this is... More

We recently stayed at La Villa De Mazamet for four nights and it was even better than expected! The holiday was perfection from start to finish - from the warm welcome, comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms, wonderful food and relaxed surroundings. Peter and Mark went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel... More

Outstanding.. Needless to say we (my husband and I) are veterans of French upscale countryside accommodation, having made dozens of weekend and longer vacation trips to France over the past 15 years. We look for character properties, small hotels/upscale B&B's that offer excellent quality and service. La Villa De Mazamet has officially topped them all, for quality of the experience,... More

My husband and I recently spent 5 days at the Villa and would recommend it to anyone. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious; the attention to detail quite wonderful. If you have dinner at the villa, culniary delights await you and the wines are very good quality and certainly within budget. It is very centrally situated yet extremely quiet at... More

There is no finer place to go and relax, be well looked after, and enjoy a culinary delight. Mark and Peter are perfect hosts, the rooms are spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. There is plenty to see and do in the area and the train station is close enough to walk to for a car free day in Toulouse.

We stayed here the last week of July, on arrival we were greeted by Mark and Peter and offered a drink, which was welcome after the long journey from England. The train was not working, so we got the coach from Toulouse airport to the bus station, then a coach to Mazamet. We were then taken to our room which... More

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with plenty of good food and an interesting time in the town of Mazamet. The hospitality and quality of service was first class but with a nice touch of friendliness and lack of pomposity. The rooms were brilliant, as was the experience of sitting in the garden or by the pool with drinks. The... More
