We stayed in Les Jardins de Mazamet with friends for two days in September this year. It is a beautiful, large house right in the town of Mazamet. Our hosts Chantal and Andre were most welcoming and provided excellent food and very friendly service. Our room on the first floor was beautiful with views of the garden to the rear...

We stayed here for three nights in "Josephine", overlooking the front of the house and the road. The room was tastefully furnished, in the style of "Maison du Monde", a well know furniture retailer in France. The bed was comfortable and there was storage but it was not well laid out, with hanging space far from drawer space, a small...

We spent five nights here and were delighted at the thoughtful touches provided. We had a large room overlooking the garden and it was hard to believe you were in a town. The only sounds were the church bells occasionally. We had beautiful warm weather so it was lovely to go out knowing that a quiet garden and pool were...

We had three rooms and each was very beautifully decorated and included everything We could have asked for. Our host Andre and Hostess Chantal were very welcoming and treated us as family! We certainly hope to return! Especially loved the beautiful piano music that played softly in the background & the breakfasts were amazing!!

This is a lovely, elegant place. Our room was beautiful themed in black and white, spacious, beautifully furnished with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was served in the ground floor dining room with a good choice of fruit, pastries, bread and really good coffee. We spent some time relaxing in the garden next to the pool too on very comfortable sun...

We stayed here for 1 night on a cycling trip from Toulouse to Barcelona as a group of 7. The hotel is very quaint, everything is very ornate and beautiful, the garden is very relaxing complete with a very nice outdoor pool. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh croissants and brilliant coffee. A very very good find indeed!

A location so close to the town centre is excellent, and yes, it is very smart and luxurious, but lacking the real comfort I hoped for - hard (and noisy) floors, bathroom fan which never stopped, and no blanket or quilt to keep me warm in the suddenly changed weather. Sadly, I much prefer carpets, somewhere to place my case...

My husband and I stayed overnight having booked after reading the reviews. 90% of which seemed very complimentary. The room was very spacious with an excellent shower in the bathroom but nowhere to put toiletries other than inside the drawers underneath the sink. This is ok if you live there but for one night I wasn't going to unpack everything...

Beautifully decorated large room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom with all toiletries and thick white towels. Helpful owners. An excellent place to stay. There are is a good Chinese restaurant and also a Moroccan restaurant on the Beziers road just outside the town. Free parking. A little difficult to find owing to one way traffic system.
