Hated every minute of it. The showers and toilet were discusting, and the light would not stay on neither for shower or toilets. I found black hairs in my bed, and dark brown marks all over the white sheets. Never, ever again.

We stayed here on our way down towards Bordeaux, we arrived around 11pm after getting off the tunnel. The location was easy to find and plenty of parking. That said the area is basically an industrial estate and I'm not sure I'd want to leave anything in the car of any value! The rooms seemed clean enough, there was a... More

Stayed here on last night of holiday before getting Eurotunnel back from Calais. On an industrial estate about 3 miles outside the centre of Boulogne. Good location for giant hypermarket just across main road for stocking up on booze before returning home. Rooms were basic. Pillows smelled of smoke. Wasn't sure how recently bedspreads had been washed but didn't look... More

This is a basic but clean hotel on a trading estate near the entrée of Boulogne sur Mer. This was a last minute booking only 30 minutes from Calais port & was good value for money. The rooms are basic with a double bed & overhead bunk. Rooms have a sink, free Wifi & tv screen. The toilets & showers... More

Booked as a last minute thing after driving from the south of france. The room was clean but cold and there was only a sheet and thin blanket on the bed. The shared toilet was awful I actually began to wonder if anyone ever flushed the toilet I only used it twice the smell was awful. Breakfast was poor just... More

First time in a formule1 for many years, they were priced in francs when I first stayed. This is cheap & cheerful, €32 for a night & breakfast. Cheaper than most youth hostels in UK. I just need a bad for a night to break a 800 mile journey from Newcastle to Limoges, it's perfect. Clean, quiet, great restaurants just... More

I'm getting to old to stay in these types of hotel. Very basic ,shared toilets and showers. Ideal for youngsters of youngfamilres on a budget. Bed very hard, limited options for basic comfort. I will from now on pay the extra.

Before I start, I didn't book this place, it was booked on my behalf. However I do expect a certain level of cleanliness wherever I stay. The room was cheap, cheerful and small as I would expect for the heady €28 price tag. The toilets and showers are separate from the room so if you need to getup in the... More

Scottish people love a bargain and this hotel was clean, comfortable and such good value! The shower was strong and warm and I loved the hand dryer above the mirror to help blow you dry before you get dressed. Only down side was a smell of smoke which I think must have been from the staff smoking whilst working as... More

We needed to go to Paris. Okay, that's a lie, I inadvertently on purpose bought something on Ebay that was in Paris, and (after convincing my wife) that we could see Paris had two days with which to make the trip. I slaved for at least 7 minutes on the internet finding the cheapest possible way to do it, and... More
