Ok so this is a nice hotel. Room was fine, service was good, helpful and polite. This hotel is in an area which is strange. This was a Saturday night when we stayed. The restaurant was closed. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was because after a 6 hour drive it had a restaurant, so we didn't have to wonder around looking for somewhere to eat. The website says the restaurant is open on Saturdays. But the girl on reception who was really nice told us because its quiet they didn't open. Next point, hotel says parking, got there parking full? Hang on thought the hotel was quiet? So we were advised that free parking was available about 100 metres up the road, this was full. So the receptionist said it would be ok to leave it outside the front of the hotel. This was nice of her. Got up in the morning, car had been broken into, nothing taken apart from a jumper, so had to drive to Calais then 4 hours back home with no window. The staff did try to cover the window before we found out to help then the chap on reception help me to try and cover the broken window, so cant fault them for that. Would I stay here again, no chance. I cannot put really why this is in the wrong place but if you have ever been to Roubaix you may know what I am talking about. Plus how can a town be shut on a Saturday night? Remember this is my opinion some people may like this hotel. The reason it hasn't got a better review is not just because we had our car broken in to that didn't help it was the restaurant being shut when the website says it is open and the lack of clarity on parking, and breakfast was nothing to shout about either

Dear Guest, First of all, thanks a lot for your stay and comment regarding your experience in our hotel. We took good consideration of your impression, and totally understand your disappointment after the events he went through. Indeed, we are sorry about what happened to your car; our private parking was indeed fully booked at this date. We show on our website a “public parking indoor”, which is not ours, but the public parking located 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Regarding the Restaurant’s closure on weekends, there is indeed a mistake on the website we are currently changing, as the text says it is closed but the pyctrogram says the contrary. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. My colleagues did their best to help them, including providing you with a cheese or charcuterie plate at the bar. Please receive all our sincere apologies your experience. Best regards, Juliette Service commercial

We stayed here as part of a group at the end of May. The rooms were ok basic but clean. The breakfast choice was very good and the coffee was excellent. We had lunch on our first day and it was extremely tasty. All of the dinners we had as part of a set menu were also very good. Nice fresh bread and no complaints from anyone in the group about the food. By far the best thing about this hotel was Martyn who looked after us all so well. He ensured that there was a vegetarian option for myself and he was really friendly.

Last year we were at this hotel and all was fine and according to my loyalty status, pity this year nothing was according to my loyalty status. My wife didn't feel welcomed and the late check-out was spoiled by the maiden wanting to clean the room although the not disturb card was hanging outside. The hotel is an older hotel but they try to keep it in a good shape and they reasonable get it done. The service on the other hand deteriorated a lot. We are not sure if we will visit this hotel in the future.

We stayed on the 2018 Paris Roubaix Challenge weekend. The hotel was popular and busy. We found the staff to be very helpful, in fact quite delightful. On the day of the event the hotel was full of cyclists preparing for their event – many with bicycles. The atmosphere was great, before and when everyone returned and finished. That evening the place was back to normal – clean and very well presented. There is limited parking in a basement car park. The rooms don’t provide a wonderful view but they are absolutely clean and hygienic. I doubt if I’ll be back to do the Challenge again, but if I ever go to see the race again I think I would make plan to stay here.
