The best thing about this hotel was Julien the young gentleman who worked the front desk during the day. He was helpful, polite, professional and made the extra effort to answer all our questions. Unlike every the other staff that we met. I can only hope that Julien eventually finds his way to a more upscale hotel where his talents would... More

It was really magical to stay on the island and walk around in the evening and the morning and go to Vespers in the Abbey without the hoards of people who leave for the day. We has a surprisingly comfortable and clean room considering where is was and what other reviewers said. It may have just been renovated. I believe... More

We arrived in the low season, we had to check into a different hotel and had our breakfast at the same hotel (as we did a bed/breakfast). The hotel was quiet, the view out our window at the ocean was amazing. The hotel room and hotel public areas were very clean. We were very happy with our choice to stay... More

My husband wanted to spend the night on Mont -Saint-Michel so we could explore in peace and quiet once the day crowds departed. This was the least expensive hotel I could find and it turned out to be a good choice. Our room was at the very end of a long, poorly lit hallway with very tight stairs so care... More

It was worth giving up a few amenities in order to stay on the island. The room is basic but clean. We were able to walk the parapets at night after most of the tourists had left. The sights at night were so charming. It felt like we were on a movie set! The morning breakfast buffet was adequate (despite... More

When we checked in to le Mouton Blanc we were met with a surly receptionist who explained to us that this is not his job. When we went up to the room - and I mean up - on the very very top floor, I sat on the toilet and the seat fell off. To their credit they did fix... More

I loved this little hotel. I stayed in the annex which was just a few steps from the main desk. The room itself was small but clean and well-appointed with a large casement window looking out over the small winding street below. I would definitely stay here again. Wifi didn't work great but I wasn't there to stare at a... More

Location: There are two building of this hotel. One, more expensive, with a bay view. the additional, where I stayed, had rooms with Grand Rue view and Abbey View. it is located up a few stairs opposite the Mere Poulard Terasse and a church. Reception: the staff speak good English. But sometimes they mislead you to the hotel. I was... More

Staying the night at Mont St Michel was an experience. I would probably limit the visit to a day trip or stay in a hotel nearby rather than stay in the island. It was nice to be there in the evening once the crowds died down, but there isn't much to do or see there. It can be done in... More

We stayed 1 night, room was OK, didn't expect great thingsite here, was clean, somewhat shabby when it came to curtains, but not to worry, we were booked on the 9 am train to Rennes, so wanted to get an early start, unfortunately breakfast didn't start till 8am, we were fortunate that the very helpful receptionist Matilda, (probably spelt wrong,...
