Amazing to spend New Years Eve on Le Mont St Michel. No fireworks very peaceful to the extent that we only passed one couple in the streets when we walked out just before midnight. Streets all lit with Christmas Lights it was beautiful just like going back in time. The hotel was reasonably priced considering it was Dec 31st. The room...

We had the chance to stay at the Auberge Saint-Pierre in December during the off season, personally, the best time to go. Be forewarned, do your research!! The Abby was built over 1000 years ago, on an island, hence, very limited space for anything. Firstly, do not take all your luggage, you will not be able to drive to the...

We got there late. They were waiting for us. Nice room . Be aware if you drive to Saint Michel that you have a parking outside the city (no tourist car allowed) and because of the city layout (stairs, going up and down all around) it will be a good idea to bring with you just a small bagpack.

Mont St. Michel is a magical place, and the chance to stay on the island just adds to the experience. We had a room just below the abbey, so get ready for a good climb up and down a few times during your stay. Great place to have a room. Nice room. Great views. For those sensitive to noise, there...

We had made reservations with low expectations, simply looking forward to being on the Mont over night. What we found though... amazing. The hotel has been renovated within the last decade or so. The water pressure was astonishing for where we were (on an island!). The room was the most charming room I've stayed in to date. Know this, charm...

This hotel was so charming and it was the perfect location. The staff was helpful and very kind. The room was comfortable and had TV and wifi. The restaurant was really cute, the food wasn't all that great, but the convenience made up for it. You MUST stay on the island to really enjoy the total experience!

We stayed in one of the "fisherman's cottages", and really loved it! They are updated and restored little rooms with modern bathrooms, but still have a quaint, period aesthetic. These rooms are above the main road, so to reach ours, we had to climb up twisty, narrow stairways and wind through narrow alleyways, which we enjoyed, but that is something...

It really is an expensive hotel, rooms small but clean and with everything you need, you pay for where you are, but that was to be expected. I would not take it for a long stay but for a couple of days it is fine. The restaurant better not touch it, expensive and not very good. Note that if you...

The Auberge Saint-Pierre is located on the island of Mont. St. Michele itself. It is on the street that winds up to the monastery. This is a lovely hotel with Old World charm. The main part of the hotel is located not too far from the entrance. However, a number of the room are on other parts of the island,...

We enjoyed our room at the Auberge Saint-Pierre - it was located a short walk up the Mont (and up a good many stairs) from the reception area of the hotel. This is not a tourist destination or hotel for anyone with mobility impairment. The room was a little quirky - built partially into the rock of the Mont, with...
