Good value. Location is great...close enough to walk to Mont St. Michel if you want to save 6 euros on parking. Don't get suckered into making dinner reservation at the hotel's restaurant - the front desk clerk who checked us in told us that all...More
The location speaks for it self. The hotel was wxcellent in all regards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The adjoining Le Pre Sale Restaurant was of an equally high standard with superior service.
My husband and I and our daughter and son in law stayed here. The room was adequate. Really stuffy until we figured out the air system. The windows do open but didn't want mosquitos coming in at night. The beds were very comfortable, but I...More
This is a basic hotel suitable for access to the surrounding area and to tour Mont Saint Michel which is a 2 kilometre walk away. It is nothing special and a bit dull.. There are plenty of similar class hotels much cheaper in the area....More

Whatever time you calculate for the drive, add on half an hour at the end for the queue to get through the barrier. You can't just drive up to the hotel: access to the area is restricted to people staying at this or one of the nearby hotels, and you have to enter a code to get through a barrier. When I was there last August, the queue was huge, though I suppose it may be shorter at other times of the year, as August is very much a peak time.

Our train ran way behind. We don't speak much French, so I don't know the reason, but we were crawling at a snails pace for most of the trip from Paris. The bus normally meets the train, but because it was so late, we had a delay before it got to us at the station. I'm sure glad we didn't plan to do this as a daytrip from Paris. We wouldn't have had any time to see the abbey and town. Because we had booked a hotel for the night, it didn't end up being as much of an issue as I thought it might.
