From the outside, this hotel looks like nothing special. Once incide, you'll find a nice welcome, a great atmosphere and charming and spacious rooms. Airco will cost you extra, mind you! The hotel offers parking space, a correct breakfast and a nice terrace. Recommend for a short stay or stop-over!

We spent three nights there in the last week and were sad to leave, Sebastian and team very welcoming and always smiling. Rooms very clean and beautiful. Popped in today on way home and despite no longer being resident made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel. Chris.

We picked this hotel in the town of Bagnole de l'Orne as a convenient location on our way between Brittany and going towards the North of France. We booked a suite as a convenient and budget friendly way to accommodate two adults and a kid We were very surprised by this small hotel which was very cute and well maintained....

This hotel provided good accommodation for our last night in France after a two week holiday. The Reception staff were extremely pleasant and with a mixture of French and English we were able to communicate very well! There is a small lift which takes you up to the bedrooms or you can use the stairs! Our room overlooked the front...

After looking for hotels in this area we chose Le Normandie and were not disappointed. On arrival we received a friendly and efficient welcome from reception, which continued with all of the other staff we met throughout our stay. The location is just right, a pleasant 5 minute walk down to the lake. We were able to park in the...

We tried the restaurant only. Everything met or exceeded our high expectations: the setting, the service, the menu, the presentation and the price. The charming little resort town of Bagnoles has many very good restaurants, this one is somewhere near the very top of the list.

We stayed here on our way back to UK from our holiday in France. Good comfy rooms (no a/c) but the food was the star attraction! Good weather permitted so we ate outside and we were treated to some wonderful food imaginatively presented. The highlight was a Prawn Thai Green Curry with black rice which was divine. If you're looking...

We nearly always get a ferry that gets us in to France (Caen) at 15.15 local time, which is a bit late for picking an hotel at random in popular locations in the middle of school holidays, so Sue gets to pick the first stop. Mostly she does that by looking for the green shaded areas on the Michelin map...

We used this hotel as a one night stop over in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne and with our classic car it was great that they had a car park that was closed at night even if it was a little tight with space - actually not a problem, as when we asked if we could park the car a bit further down the...
